by Framework Affordable perhaps, but durable - not so much!
If a picture is worth a thousand words, take a look at the attached picture which shows the effect of normal sitting on the corner of our new, JC Penny standard bed frame and experiencing a true product meltdown - to be more precise, one of the legs simply folded under as a 150 lb adult sat down on it.
Unfortunately the leg is riveted to the frame and is not replaceable.

by Kaseybobasey GREAT VALUE
JC Penny was offering the least expensive full-sized bed frame that I have been able to find in stores or online, plus I received free shipping and it arrived within 2 days. The quality of the product is fantastic - it was easy to put together and came with casters as welI. I truly am completely satisfied, and now that I think about it, I'm going to order another one for my guest room.

This frame was for our guest room. Our son's girlfriend, who weights maybe 110 pounds slept on it for a few nights - once at Christmas, a couple of nights this summer. As I am changing out summer bedding for fall, I noticed the bed seemed odd. I removed the mattress to discover the frame was broken! Seriously, a piece of junk.

We had this less than three weeks and it is bent already from a 150lb person sleeping on it...ridiculous.

I was looking for an inexpensive bed frame that I could take apart if necessary, and that would allow a bit of room for underbed storage. I was a little skeptical about this one based on some of the extremely negative reviews, but it seemed like there were enough rational positive ones to take the chance. This is nothing fancy, but it serves my needs, and I couldn't find anything similar for that price. I'm not sure that the material would stand up to the imaginary wrestling matches I used to conduct on my bed as a kid, but fortunately I've mostly grown past that.
It's worth noting that the instructions are particularly sparse. I'm mildly handy and have some decent common sense, so I figured it out easily enough, but it took an extra 15 minutes or so. Fair warning: mine was also missing the screws/bolts required to keep the center piece in place, but I was able to use some that I already had.

Purchased this item and of May, it only last 2 weeks. It is not worth it. I had to throw it out. You can purchase a warranty but, two weeks, it just shouldn't be sold. Invest in a more sturdy brand.

This is a strong, sturdy bottom frame only so if you wanted to add a headboard or foot board they can be attached.
