Eco-friendly tip: This towel is made with long-lasting quality in mind. Give it a second life when you're through with it by donating it to a local charity instead of discarding in the trash.

Rated 4 out of 5 by from Nice towels on the whole; Occasional snags if not washed seperately We initially purchased 8 bath sheet towels, 4 hand towels and 4 wash cloths each in Red & Grey. They were so nice we decided to up the ante and replaced aLL of our towels during a white sale, so we know own 8 white bath sheets, 16 Red and 16 Gray along with a few dozen hand towels and wash cloths. It has been over a year since the initial purchase and we are very happy with ONE exception: DO NOT wash these with your clothing as zippers and velcro will cause snags in the towel loops. If you wash them alone (Just towels and NO clothing) you will get no snags. Therefore, follow MFG recommended care and these towels will give you years of service..

Rated 5 out of 5 by from Add to cart! For the price this is a no brainer. I'm on airrbnb and these are perfect to give the upscale feel I am seeking.

Rated 1 out of 5 by from worst towels I've ever owned I loved my Royal Velvet Turkish towels but needed to replace them due to age. Unfortunately they're no longer available, so I went with the Egyptian cotton in silver blue. I have all three problems that other reviewers have complained about: The lint is insane, even after months of use; the thread is pulling everywhere; and there are streaks all over the towels that make it look like they came in contact with bleach. So if you want to take a shower and become instantly covered in lint afterward by a streaked towel with threads hanging everywhere, this is your towel.

Rated 3 out of 5 by from Soft, spotted towels... I bought 12 sets of these towels. 6 sets were the deep purple color and the others were a neutral color (dark beige). The towels are very plush and absorb moisture very well. Here's what happened after the first wash using Tide liquid without bleach. On the dark beige towels - The towels changed color slightly and have large spots like they've been bleached. The spots are almost a greenish color or hue. On the purple towels - No bleach spots but I have several different shades of purple. On both both colors, I had to clean the drum of my washing machine from all the bits and pieces of towel fabric. After drying, the lint in the lint screen was very thick, but being new towels, I sort've expected this. I literally had to trim away the unraveling on some of the sides of the towels. I was so very excited to get new towels. I love, love the way they feel. I just don't know that I would order again.

Rated 1 out of 5 by from Stringy Mess! I bought these towels (bath towels, hand towels, and wash cloths) around Christmas time 2014 and they are now a stringy mess. I wash them appropriately with warm water and Tide. They have loose strings all over them. They look awful. It's no fun having to trim off strings every time I fold towels. I am sure you can find something better elsewhere. Extremely disappointed!

Rated 2 out of 5 by from Poorly made! If you asked me two years ago when I first purchased these bath sheets, you would have seen rave reviews, but the last one I purchased literally shredded apart. I can't even explain what happened other than sheer disappointment in the quality. So shocked!

Rated 1 out of 5 by from Sorry I bought I bought 3 sets of these towels as a gift for my Son and his Wife. They are falling apart. Not what I expected for the price. Might as well have gone to a " Big Box" Discount store, and bought the towels.

Rated 5 out of 5 by from Thick, soft towels Very soft, thick towels at a great price. I have gray, plum, and black; the gray and plum have not shed at all, while the black has shed somewhat. All have shed less than I typically see from new towels, and all were initially more absorbent than I usually find new towels to be. Regarding another reviewer's problem with pink spots which looked like the towel had encountered bleach, we had the same problem with several sets of towels and managed to trace them back to an unexpected source--our toothpaste! We were using a whitening toothpaste, and whatever was used as a whitener bleached the towels and left pinkish spots. So many toothpastes have whiteners now that this could happen if you wipe your toothbrush on your towel or your face after brushing. Once we figured it out and changed a few habits, we saw no more pink spots. Just FYI because we initially thought it was a quality problem with the towels.

Answer:
I don't see anything on the listing that indicates the % Egyptian cotton but the tag says 100% cotton then on the next line it says Egyptian cotton loops. Hope that helps answer your question.

I purchased these towels about 2 months ago. When using the towel after my shower, I am covered in lint all over my body. It has been necessary to go back in the shower to wash the lint off.

Answer:
Wash them twice before use and do not mix red with gray (etc) ... colors do run for the first few washing of intense colors such as red. Do not wash with clothing, only with other linens to prevent snags in the towels cotton lops.

Answer:
I have never had a lint issue with my towels but maybe after you wash them a half dozen times or so they will quit having lint. I know for my towels, I didn't think they absorbed water very well at first, but now that they have been washed between 6 and 12 times they are as absorbent or more so than my other towels. I hope they start working for you. They are such pretty towels.

Answer:
From my experience, all the Egyptian Cotton towels I've tried were very linty at first. I usually wash the towels twice before my first use because the lint not only gets on one's body but it flies all over the bathroom, etc. The good news is that they do "settle down" after washings and use. In the meantime, you can use a dry hand towel of micro fibers or polyester to shish over yourself after you are dried off.

Answer:
I did not have this problem, but I lightly washed them first in cool water with Dreft and the first use was perfect and fluffy. They are soft, absorbent, and so thick for my needs & the colors as you well know are beautiful. I hope this helps, b/c they are such a great towel for my Bisque and Tan Motif. I hope this helps you, as I'm sure it will. Enjoy!! This should solve the problem & if you don't want to lightly wash them, put them in your dryer with air-dry setting, and a cling-free sheet and the lint will be gone from the manufacturer.

I read the reviews for both types of towels, and although I liked the thicker look of the Egyptian cotton, was worried about the loops, threads, etc., that reviewers were mentioning, so purchased the Signature Soft. They are very nice, but wondering if anyone has purchased both and compared them?

I do have the Royal Velvet towels and love them. I tried to get another set from JCPenney. I cannot find the same set in terms of short tight loops. I have looksed and felt all of the current available towels and cannot find the ones I purchased 4+ years ago which were of a high quality.
