Rated 4 out of 5 by Great but be careful with the size This blanket is just the weight we were looking for as a summer blanket . The cotton is soft, and the neutral color are also great. By reading other reviews, I was expecting that this blanket might shrink when I washed it the first time, which it did, even though I followed the care instructions to the letter. So while I ordered a full/queen for our queen-sized bed, the blanket now is about the right size. It initially was rather long at the sides and would have been VERY long for a full-sized bed. I am afraid, however, that if it shrinks on the second wash, it will be too small, but I am reluctant to not dry it in the dryer since a blanket is hard to air dry. July 18, 2016
Rated 5 out of 5 by It provides the comfort we had hoped for when we purchased it. We were looking for a lightweight blanket for the summer and this one worked out really well. It "breathes" which makes it so comfortable. July 26, 2016
Rated 5 out of 5 by Just as expected Was just the blanket I was looking for. Not too heavy for the summer months. Quality is excellent. July 26, 2016
Rated 5 out of 5 by Wonderful summer blanket I just have to write a review because I LOVE this blanket! Bought in a king size and in white. I'm going through menopause and on occasion have night sweats. The fall cotton blanket was just too warm so I bought this one. At first it wasn't soft as someone else said but after a few washings it softened up great! So glad I got this one. I still sometimes just use a top sheet but if I get a little cool this blanket is perfect! I'm so comfortable with it on me. It's not too hot and the price is great; however, if it wasn't so great, the price wouldn't even matter. I gotta be comfortable. Love it July 11, 2016
Rated 5 out of 5 by Light summer weight blank I've been looking for a light weight summer blanket for a while. I'm so glad to have found this blanket at JCP. I sleep so much better now. I can't sleep without a blanket, but regular blankets are too hot during the warm weather. This one is perfect. Love the ivory color. July 18, 2016
Rated 5 out of 5 by Great weight and size Excellent light weight cotton blanket. I love that it fits my queen size bed without extending below the comforter, so no need to tuck in. July 21, 2016
Rated 5 out of 5 by Great Blanket! I love this blanket, even more than I thought I would! The weight is just perfect. Pretty color. Great quality. In fact, I have ordered another one! July 18, 2016
Rated 2 out of 5 by Blanket did not meet minimal expectations 1st blanket received had a 'hole' in it. Apparently it had been returned as inside the package was a piece of paper with JCP print on it reading 'hole' with an arrow. JCP willing made an exchange. 2nd blanket is undersized and just overall not please with the quality. July 11, 2016

Answer:
I wouldn't consider this to be "thermal", just a thick cotton blanket.

Answer:
Yes, very much so! Here in Florida most of the year I would never think of putting anything over it. Although, when winter come to us, I would place a quilt over the top ~ and be snug and warm!

Answer:
Don't think it IS classified as thermal but even in our cold climate it has kept me sufficiently warm AND in the summer it is light enough to be 'cool' on a warm night.

I used it to replace my old thermal blanket. It is similar, but more tightly woven and doesn't seem to stretch as much as my old thermal blanket.

Answer:
I have only noticed shedding after washing and drying. I have not noticed anything else getting on the bed after it's been in the dryer. The lint trap is always full after this is in the dryer.

Answer:
After the first couple washings of the blankets, I did experience excess lint in the dryer, but I feel this is normal. As far as when blanket is in use, I have experienced none. I am pleased with my purchase.

Not that I'm aware of. Of course I've only had mine for a few months. It washed up real nice (on cold water) and I haven't seen any lint pills at all.

Answer:
YES, the blanket is plain awful for pilling--blue threads and patches everywhere. And trying to wash it was a disaster. One of the worst products I have ever purchased from JCP.

Answer:
I washed it before putting it on the guest bed and there was a huge amount of lint in the dryer screen but I haven't noticed anymore shedding. Keep in mind it's on the guest bed, so not a lot of use. I really like the weight and the appearance of it now that the extra lint has washed out. Hope that helps.

The weight is fine; however, I was disappointed in the size. It was not nearly as large as my other king size cotton blanket. It barely covers my king size temperpedic bed.

Answer:
I would say it's light weight. I love a cotton blanket and a crisp sheet because I get hot at night. This blanket is perfect. It's heavy enough to make you feel snug without your comforter but light enough to use all year. I hope this helps.

Answer:
It's not a heavy blanket. I usually need to double it. Also, I had to wash it 3 times to get the lent out of it, otherwise it gets on everything. I purchased two, but returned the other. Mine is navy.
