Rated 5 out of 5 by Love This Blanket I bought this same blanket before for our master bedroom and just bought it again for the guest bedroom because I like it so much. I prefer cotton blankets because they are the most comfortable and these do not disappoint. Perfect weight; warm enough without being heavy. I use them all year long. I bought the king size for my queen size beds because the queen size runs small. The king size fits much better. August 22, 2016
Rated 2 out of 5 by Nice color and softness - just very undersized! We have this blanket in a twin and use it as a small comforter. Works great for that purpose, nice weight, soft, good blue color. Then we ordered it for our California King - wow, was it ever tiny! CA King is 6 inches narrower than regular King, and it was still too narrow. And definitely too short. The blanket might have fit a Queen, except it wouldn't have been long enough. August 9, 2016
Rated 5 out of 5 by Great Summer Blanket Love this blanket - light weight, great for summer, getting ready to buy another one August 12, 2016
Rated 5 out of 5 by Blanket for first apartment I got this blanket for my son who moved into to his first apartment, and he said it is very nice. I got another one for my bed at home. I am very pleased with my purchase! August 9, 2016
Rated 4 out of 5 by Great but be careful with the size This blanket is just the weight we were looking for as a summer blanket . The cotton is soft, and the neutral color are also great. By reading other reviews, I was expecting that this blanket might shrink when I washed it the first time, which it did, even though I followed the care instructions to the letter. So while I ordered a full/queen for our queen-sized bed, the blanket now is about the right size. It initially was rather long at the sides and would have been VERY long for a full-sized bed. I am afraid, however, that if it shrinks on the second wash, it will be too small, but I am reluctant to not dry it in the dryer since a blanket is hard to air dry. July 18, 2016
Rated 2 out of 5 by too much lint I must have washed it 3 times now and every time there is a lot of lint. Makes me uncomfortable to wash it again. I would not recommend it. 2 stars because it is warm and comfortable to use. August 4, 2016
Rated 5 out of 5 by Great Blanket I love these blankets, I have them on every bed in the house, and needed a new one for one that we have had for years that needed replaced. I wish our local JCP had them at the store. Great blanket, good size, queen covers a large pillow top queen mattress. Light enough, but not too light. August 2, 2016
Rated 4 out of 5 by lightweight blanket good year round Lightweight blanket that is good year round. I am using it in summer when it is very hot but the chill of a/c can affect me. The only thing I did not like about it is that it left lots of lint in the dryer and on the clothes I put in with it on the first washing. I also like the color (ecru). July 25, 2016

Answer:
I wouldn't consider this to be "thermal", just a thick cotton blanket.

Yes, very much so! Here in Florida most of the year I would never think of putting anything over it. Although, when winter come to us, I would place a quilt over the top ~ and be snug and warm!

Answer:
Don't think it IS classified as thermal but even in our cold climate it has kept me sufficiently warm AND in the summer it is light enough to be 'cool' on a warm night.

I used it to replace my old thermal blanket. It is similar, but more tightly woven and doesn't seem to stretch as much as my old thermal blanket.

I have only noticed shedding after washing and drying. I have not noticed anything else getting on the bed after it's been in the dryer. The lint trap is always full after this is in the dryer.

After the first couple washings of the blankets, I did experience excess lint in the dryer, but I feel this is normal. As far as when blanket is in use, I have experienced none. I am pleased with my purchase.

Not that I'm aware of. Of course I've only had mine for a few months. It washed up real nice (on cold water) and I haven't seen any lint pills at all.

Answer:
YES, the blanket is plain awful for pilling--blue threads and patches everywhere. And trying to wash it was a disaster. One of the worst products I have ever purchased from JCP.

Answer:
I washed it before putting it on the guest bed and there was a huge amount of lint in the dryer screen but I haven't noticed anymore shedding. Keep in mind it's on the guest bed, so not a lot of use. I really like the weight and the appearance of it now that the extra lint has washed out. Hope that helps.

The weight is fine; however, I was disappointed in the size. It was not nearly as large as my other king size cotton blanket. It barely covers my king size temperpedic bed.

Answer:
I would say it's light weight. I love a cotton blanket and a crisp sheet because I get hot at night. This blanket is perfect. It's heavy enough to make you feel snug without your comforter but light enough to use all year. I hope this helps.

It's not a heavy blanket. I usually need to double it. Also, I had to wash it 3 times to get the lent out of it, otherwise it gets on everything. I purchased two, but returned the other. Mine is navy.
