by Countryfarmgirl Great for any room in the house!
This is listed in the "kitchen furniture" department but I bought mine for the bathroom. I recently remodeled the bathroom and needed a small cabinet to hide hair and makeup stuff as a separate "makeup station". The 4 drawers are perfect size for tucking things away (it actually holds a hair-dryer and curling iron along with brushes and combs) and the see-through door is great for showcasing perfume bottles and other items (I have some antique bathroom things on that side). The dimension for this cabinet provide a perfect size item to tuck in a small space. Great item!

by Nancyrav This cabinet has lots of storage space for a compact product.
All-in-all, this cabinet made the perfect coffee/tea cabinet I intended it for. I only wish it had a glass door panel instead of plastic.

Rated 3 out of 5 by AudraT Cute cabinet but flimsy
Needed a cabinet in the kitchen. I love the design/look but it's not sturdy at all. It wobbles when moved, so as long as you don't move it from place to place it'll be fine, but I don't see it lasting for a very long time. I recommend gluing the pieces together as you go and maybe it'll be sturdier but I doubt it. It's really too bad. I didn't put the door on it since I'm using the shelving for cook books and want to grab them quickly.

Rated 4 out of 5 by vstokes Just right for me but a couple of flaws
I really like this cabinet because it is just the right size for what I need. It is fairly well-made, but I did have several problems with it. One is the very strong chemical odor of the wood. I put the cabinet together 5 days ago, and I still get quite a whiff whenever I walk by. When I first took it out of the box the odor was overwhelming. The other problem had to do with the parts. The two back panels are supposed to be the same size, but one was about 1/2 inch too long to fit. There was no number on the directions about replacement parts, so I called Penney's. I was told parts could not be replaced and I would have to either use it as is or return the cabinet. I was able to get the piece that was too long sawed off to fit, and Penney's gave me a 15% price adjustment, which made me a happy camper. If the part had been unusable, though, I would have had to return the whole cabinet after I had spent two hours putting it together!

I was hoping this cabinet would be a little more durable. After assembly it leans to one side and I have it against a wall for support. Typical fiberboard furniture. Very cute design and looks great in my bathroom. Don't be fooled into thinking that the "glass" is real, it is a sheet of plastic, which is ok for my using it in the bathroom.

But if I could take it apart and put it back in the box and return it, I would do it. The drawers do not stay together and it is a piece of junk. I am very disappointed.

I waited until I had several hours before I decided to put this together. I carefully followed the directions, and didn't have any issues until the last drawer - which was due to my fatigue! Put the sides on upside down but was easily remedied. The drawers were not what I expected - can't put anything heavy in them. (They DO have drawer stops, btw). I bought it to replace my microwave cart and it works nicely for that purpose. CON: It's been nearly two weeks now and while it's somewhat less, the strong chemical smell still lingers. Have wiped it out a few times and have put a box of baking soda inside with the hope that it will dissipate. I can't store any food in it that would absorb the odor, which is disappointing. I hope this will go away soon!
