by Kg21128 Staples are popping through the fabric creating holes
The fabric cleans easily and is extremely comfortable. Unfortunately, there are multiple staples popping through the fabric. One has punched a hole through the fabric and several more are thinning the fabric. It's only a matter of time before the holes get bigger. I bought the sectional 9 months ago.

by Spottycat Couch could be terrific, but misses
This is the second sectional purchased from JC Penny. The first, from several years ago, was excellent and has worn well. This couch could be terrific, but has missed the mark in many respects. Even on sale, this product isn't worth the price.
Build quality leaves a great deal to be desired. Arms have more play than would be expected. A majority of cushions have untrimmed thread hanging from stitching. One cushion had three threads, each over two feet long, hanging from it. The feet are hollow plastic, not wood, and crack. The feet also rotate freely, resulting in feet frequently shifting and ending up not square to the frames lending an odd appearance to the couches. Fabric is not wrapped completely around the base of the frame on the sleeper, so fill, fluff, and a ragged fabric edge is visible along the entire bottom back of the sleeper section. Many fabric staples are partially sunk into the frame, and some missed entirely, leaving sharp points exposed in some places.
Some design features are a matter of taste. Cushions and arms have "piped" edges. This provides a somewhat formal look, though the cushion and pillow edges are quite hard. Cushions and pillows are firm, though not uncomfortably so. Seating on the sofa bed section is better than many couches, and the sofa bed itself is reasonably decent for such beds.
One aspect which is quite good is the "Top Hat" fabric choice. It is quite soft, comes in many terrific colors and doesn't show variation in nap nearly as much as most microfiber type fabrics. The local retail store had large swatches (full square yards) of every color which helped with selection.
Also, though not part of this product group, the available cocktail ottoman is a nice, large size with a nearly flat, firm top. Drinks and snacks, when put on trays, are stable.
Sadly, with the construction issues, I can not recommend this line of couches. If JC Penny would put some effort into construction, ensuring the frame and arms are solid, and use secure, wood feet, I'd reconsider. Otherwise, look elsewhere.

Rated 4 out of 5 by HappyPossibilities So far very good!
I bought this sectional in the late spring. Maybe I received the 'reworked' product per the JCPenney comment on one of the other reviews, but so far I am completely pleased with this sectional. It is beautiful and comfortable with firm seating. Possibly I do not give it the same wear that the other purchasers have but the frame is perfectly fine so far as are all of the pillows. I have had no sagging or wear. The only reason I did not give it a 5 rating is because with the two reviews that are so bad, I will wait until I have had it for a longer period of time before upping the review to a 5.

Rated 1 out of 5 by pinkyleigh1013 On my third couch with this brand
I have returned this couch a total of two times. I thought if I brought a different possibilities brand with a sleeper than maybe the quality would have gotten better. Wrong. The cushions were flat within a month. The couch is sagging, I only had this couch for 3 months and it looks like I had it for 2 years. very disappointed. Do not buy this product.
