Rated 5 out of 5 by from Perfect Rugs for chemically sensitive people! They are not only the right color, good quality, and perfect sizes, they are non toxic. That is especially important to chemically sensitive people like me. And they are washable if any problem arises!!! I am thrilled with these rugs. Ordered 4 different ones for my house!

Rated 2 out of 5 by from Poor Quality to what they once were These are the same rugs that I have had for years and have really enjoyed them but they began to show wear and needed replacing. I was excited to find that Penney's still had them. When I received them, thy were not of the same quality that I had originally. I was disappointed to find the construction was not the same and they were no longer plush like the originals. They were cheaply made and I could find something of the same construction for a lot less at other stores. Very disappointing.

Rated 5 out of 5 by from Blue Rugs with Border -- Love Them This is the third time over the years that I have purchased this rug. I have used this style and color in all my kitchens, in various sizes. They are attractive and go with my kitchen theme. The backing is non-skid so they stay in place, and they hold up well in the washing machine. NOTE: If you have the new front-loader washing machine, the backing should last for years; if you have a top-loading washer with agitator it's best to use the gentle cycle because my last washer managed to chew up the backing after a couple of years (especially if my vacuum cleaner had already torn up the backing when I got careless). Set your dryer to a medium or lower temp so you don't dry out your backing. I've been keeping house for 47 years and this is the rug of choice for me.

Rated 4 out of 5 by from Rug for entryway I've bought JCP rugs for years. The number one reason is that most of them are machine washable. However, after a while, the rubber backing tends to disintegrate. They still tend to last a few years. I've yet to find the size and color selection JCP offers anywhere else.

Rated 5 out of 5 by from Great Rugs I really can't say how many of these rugs I've purchased over the past years, but it's got to be at least a dozen or more. I have a huge foyer so I use 3 at a time. Living in the Midwest where we have the different seasons, these rugs catch all the snow, mud, leaves, etc. and always look nice. Guess that's the beauty of shag. When the dogs don't get let out in time, the rugs catch that too. I just shake them in the yard and throw them in the washer and dryer. I have learned not to dry them on high heat. That seems to destroy the rubber backing. Since I've been drying them on low heat, they last a lot longer. So in a nutshell, I will continue to buy these rugs until they no longer make them.

Rated 5 out of 5 by from This product lives up to expections This product is very good quality. It goes through the washer and dryer beautifully. We have hard wood floors and it does not slip or roll. We are more than satisfied.

Rated 5 out of 5 by from Just as nice as the first one. I bought this to replace a well-worn (wornout, actually) rug of the same type. The color is slightly different, but it's the same rug. I use it at my front door, just inside the door where the floor is vinyl. With Winter upon us, it really holds onto the dirt and salt that our outdoor mat doesn't get. It is well lined underneath, so it stays put. As to overall quality, I can only go by the rug it's replacing -- it's lasted for years (and is seeing a second life as a mat for my husband to use when working under our truck), and I fully expect this one to do at least as well. Nice variety of color choices, too; found one I liked easily.

Rated 5 out of 5 by from Great rug I really like this rug. This is my first time trying this style rug. I got the brown 5/8. It looks lovely. I'm happy with the price and the quality.

Can the 5x8 be put in the washer?

Asked by: West7573
I have not tried it in my home washer, but I am sure it would be fine in a large front loading washer at a laundromat. They are awesome throw rugs and fine quality but don't break your home washer with one that large. I do put by runners and 24" x 34" rugs in the home washer with no problem.

I know rug sizes are always approximate. What are the exact dimensions of this 8x10 rug? Thanks!

Is PECAN a warm or cool tone? I'm looking for a neutral "tan" to coordinate with olivy-brown, grapefruit & "linen".

Asked by: floridafree
The pecan is a neutral tone which would look great with the colors you are describing.
