I am betting that the Flax is more Golden, as Flax comes from wheat. The term 'Flax' or Flaxen has also been used for centuries as a common adjective to describe pretty blonde hair; so we can infer a yellowish/gold color. Natural beige SHOULD be a true neutral, soft toned, beige color, such as the color of the desert.
If the two color swatches, Flax and Natural Beige, on the JCP website look identical, probably some computer IT dude made a mistake while designing the webpage. Or possibly the software he/she has to set up the color schemes has few choices available. You could contact the JCP technology department and let them know about that flaw. Maybe (I really mean MAYBE) they can improve it.
