Rated 4 out of 5 by from Good rug I like the features in this rug--footprints do not show because of the pattern of the rug. It doesn't slip because of the rubber backing. Meets my needs perfectly.

Rated 3 out of 5 by from The size and color are perfect. It is a pretty rug and the size was difficult to find. So far, it is exactly what I was looking for regarding size and color with a pretty border.

Rated 4 out of 5 by from Beautiful! The color and texture are just what I expected. I have the blue and it's very rich color! I am using a small one near my kitchen door. It looks durable and the rubber backing is solid. I think it can stand many washes. We'll see.

Rated 5 out of 5 by from Time will tell. This is just what I needed for my hallways. Hopefully, they will be durable as it is a high traffic area.

Rated 5 out of 5 by from EXCELLENT Rug This rug is far superior to it's competition. It is soft, has a durable backing, has a rich color and can be vacuumed. After bringing home NINE different rugs from JCP this rug won the contest hands down.

Rated 5 out of 5 by from Great Rugs I bought these rugs in olive green and loved them so much that I wanted the linen color. There were out of stock but came back in quickly and I ordered the same 3 sizes. My idea of the color "linen" and Penney's idea of linen are way different. I was expecting a light beige color. These linen rugs are toast colored. The rug is great but the color is not what I expected. I'm keeping them because they wash well and when it's warm, I just put them outside over a chair to dry. I bought some from another store and they shed in the dryer - there were little brown specks all over the dryer. I had to get the vacuum out and even that didn't get rid of them. They were tiny, like the head of a pin. I had to use a wet rag. I never have that problem with Penney's rugs. My next color will be blue!

What color is New Orleans Red? Is it more burgundy, rust, or a dark true red?

Is this rug really washable in a top loading HE washing machine

The manufacturer of my washing machine does not recommend washing rubber backed rugs. I am wondering if this rug would be OK to wash in this washing machine. It is a top loading Whirlpool High Efficiency machine.
Asked by: Don43
I have a Whirlpool Duet which is a front loader and I have had no trouble washing my rubber backed rugs. I don't believe it is the washer but the dryer that does the damage to the rubber backing. Does your washer have an agitator? If it does you might reconsider washing it in your machine. The non agitating machines are gentler on everything.
