Do these dishes leave scratch marks when you cut on them? And, do they chip easily?
I'm done with heavy stoneware, looking for a white set but not Corelle. I have JCPenny dishes now, they did not chip easily and lasted years. Hoping these are just as nice and don't leave scratch marks from steak knives.
The whole point about china dishes is that they do not chip as easily as stoneware. I have not notices any scratch marks from steak knives. In the past my china dishes don't get scratch marks from steak knives. That's why I waited 12 years until I could buy white china dishes at a reasonable price.
