Rated 5 out of 5 by positive feedback on keurig 550 coffee maker The Keurig 2.0 550 coffee maker is an excellent way to make delicious coffee in a minute for busy lifestyles of today It's possible make a combo of flavors in one cup. {Add caramel to your favorite basic coffee.}Some K-pods can be used two times if you prefer a milder strength for your taste by, combining the two uses in one cup of coffee. The taste is terrific; like freshly ground coffee. Thanks Keurig, for the free pods for this review. August 20, 2015
Rated 1 out of 5 by Wanted to love it, but I don't. Love that I can brew kcups, vue packs, and carafe pods. But the love ends there. The machine is very loud and the pulsating that is supposed to make the coffee stronger only sprays coffee everywhere. I don't mind that I have to use Keurig licensed products, because I did already. But despite buying the highest brewer with the most options, it would not let me brew 12oz with a kcup. And forget stronger coffee; every cup I brewed came out watery. I got stronger coffee with my older brewer brewing 12 oz with one kcup than brewing 10oz with strong coffee selected with the same brand and flavor kcup in the new brewer. My coffee also only occasionally brewed at the temperature it said it was supposed to brew at. Most of the time my coffee was Luke warm at best. I finally gave up, returned it, and went back to my previous brewer which works great and lets me use all the features it has in the way I want. Overall, the idea is great, and I was excited to get the brewer, but the execution was a failure. Disappointing. September 16, 2015
Rated 4 out of 5 by Ultimate in convenience This is a very versatile, customized brewer. It's fantastic for everyday use for households or offices with multiple users with varied preferences. I don't like traditional coffee but love tea and the specialty brews like the Cafe Escapes collection. My husband drinks light to medium roast coffee and my parents, who visit frequently, prefer very dark bold brews. This brewer easily accomodates all of us and I especially like that if I happen to be out of bold flavors, I can use the "strong" brew setting to better suit my parent's preference. The larger water container is a big convenience as well. My only complaint is that you must use a Keurig brand pod- after market brands will not work with this nor will the canister that you can put your own loose grounds in that was available for the 1.0 version. Not a deal breaker but slightly annoying. Be aware that I will receive free pods for submitting this review but that in no way has jaded my very honest review of this brewer. August 25, 2015
Rated 1 out of 5 by Very Disappointed! Will be returning ASAP! We purchased the Keurig 2.0 K550 to upgrade from the D70. Big mistake! 1) Hot water on Demand - It only allow 6oz of water and holding of a button to dispense is an inconvenience. The K70 allow you to choose from different sizes and dispense automatically once the lid is closed. 2) The brew time is MUCH slower than the K70 3) The water filter is very flimsy and the bottom is difficult to remove without breaking it. In the K70, the water filter is very durable and built to last. 4) The carafe provided with the brewer is plastic and doesn't keep the coffee warm for long periods of time. An upgrade to a thermal carafe will enhance your experience. 5) The size cup options are minimal compare to the K70. 6) It's not compatible with all K-cups like the K70 Bottomline is I will be returning the Keurig K550 and stick with my Platinum K70 until it clunks out and forced to purchase another Keurig. Hopefully, the kinks will in the new Keurig 2.0 will be worked out by then. August 23, 2015

Rated 5 out of 5 by I Would Be Nothing Without My Keurig I had to complete a self-deprivation assignment for my Public Relations Research course. The assignment entailed me giving up a product or brand for one week that I use daily to see how the product or brand affects my life. At the end of the week, I wasn't surprised to find that I can't function without my Keurig 2.0. Keurig has been a huge part of my morning rituals and my day to day life since I bought my first of many Keuri's 6 years ago, not having it completely threw my schedule off. I spent more money on coffee in a week than I have in my entire life. My emotional state was unstable, I was irrational and to put it simply, I wasn't me this week. I missed classes, I was late and I barely looked presentable. I wish there was a way for me to not sound like I'm dependent and in love with my Keurig, but the self-deprivation assignment doesn't lie, I'm not complete without my Keurig 2.0 and I don't plan to ever give it up again. Rated 5 out of 5 by I fell in love Usually I only use fresh ground coffee and either a french press or my Bunn and I never wanted to buy a Keurig. I finally gave in, mostly because I always end up making 4 cups of coffee, because that's the minimum water amount my coffee machine called for. Let me tell you, not only do I like the Keurig, no I am surprised by how much I like it. It's so much fun having a wide variety of coffees and other drinks such as teas and cappuccinos. With this machine you can also brew Keurig Vue cups which come in a nice variety. Overall I must say I am not going back to the old style coffee making, and am looking forward to using my Keurig. I do wish the machine would have an easier way, like a special menu, for like creating a custom brewing cycle or the ability to use a Keurig My K-Cup so I can still use fresh ground coffee if I want to, since not all coffee roasters make k-cups and i do like drinking a variety, and i already know that k-cups aren't enough. Thanks, Keurig, for the free pods for this review. July 26, 2015
