Rated 1 out of 5 by Smells like somthing burning When I plugged it in after washing it, It smelled like insulation burning. My whole smelled like that for days afterword's. I called the manufacture and they said it should not smell like that and to send it back. July 15, 2016
Rated 4 out of 5 by really easy I have used it one time but enjoyed using it. The waffle iron cooked really fast which was nice. July 9, 2016
Rated 5 out of 5 by Fun to use! Very easy to use right out of the box! I was making waffles in no time flat! Fun and simple. June 15, 2016
Rated 4 out of 5 by This is an easy product for my kids to use My kids love waffles and this is the perfect product for us to make homemade waffles at home. June 3, 2016
Rated 5 out of 5 by Changing out current products to Cuisinart Hard to see that the waffle is ready unless you are standing right beside it. Smaller then my other iron. I'll place this one in my travel trailer and keep my other one in my house. June 4, 2016
Rated 4 out of 5 by This waffle maker is easy to use. I am very fond of homemade waffles, I found this on line at JCPenney and immediately ordered it to replace the one I had previously. I am disappointed that it does not beep when temperature is ready and when waffle is done. But it was a very good price and comes with a three year warranty. May 18, 2016
Rated 4 out of 5 by Good Value, Easy to store, Easy to clean I needed to replace a similar style waffle maker that I have owned for 6 years. This was almost identical! It is easy to clean. You can use the settings to cook it longer for crispier waffles. The less steam coming out the sides, the more cooked the waffle becomes. You can open it up during the cooking process without it ripping in half or sticking to either side. I always coat both sides before adding the batter. You don't need to coat it again after the 1st waffle, it is nonstick. It is also fairly small and easy to store. Waffles come out fluffy but thinner than the XL Belgium style you might imagine at IHOP. I have previously bought a load and flip waffle maker and needed to return it because it got stuck in the flipped position and burnt the waffle! March 5, 2016
Rated 5 out of 5 by Great Great value for the money!! I would recommend this product for quick and simple use! May 5, 2016

Answer:
No removable parts. When it is cool, you can clean it with a damp clothes or paper towels.
It doesn't get very messy as long as you don't overdo the batter or burn the waffles.
