Rated 5 out of 5 by As advertised I was concerned that this wedge might be too soft and would flatten. After several weeks of being under the mattress, it hasn't changed. Fits the queen-size box springs and mattress well. It has relieved nearly all of the stuffy sinus problem when sleeping. There was no new foam product odor. October 18, 2015
Rated 3 out of 5 by Squashed Flat by Premium Mattress I dislike sleeping directly on memory foam -- it's too warm.. I tried using this under my new luxury-model queen size mattress. You'll note the photo here shows it used precisely this way.. My mattress is so heavy I can barely lift it (and I'm no 98-pound weakling), so it was quite difficult getting the pad under the mattress in the first place. NOT worth the effort! The weight of the mattress alone squashed the pad flat, and there was NO incline whatsoever. HAHAHA.... just TRY to return this item! It's shipped to you rolled tightly with all the air squashed out, and you will never in a million years get it back in the box. I couldn't even get it small enough to get it into my car to drive it 40 miles to the nearest Penneys store. I ended up cutting one side and a little of the end off to change it from queen size to full size, and put it under the mattress in my guest room. That's a a much lighter mattress, and the pad retains its incline there. I'm sure some people will do just fine with this pad, but it failed me. Your mileage may vary. January 11, 2015
Rated 5 out of 5 by Good slope I place this incline mattress above my regular mattress but under my new 4" topper. This allows the head of my bed to be higher than the foot and serves the purpose I purchased it for. September 23, 2015
Rated 5 out of 5 by Works as Designed and Better Due to acid reflux, my doctor told me I need to raise the head of my bed 4-6" so that I sleep on a slight incline. Because I have a platform bed, I am not able to do this like one could with a conventional bed by placing blocks under the legs. So I needed to find an alternative for our King Size bed. The doctor said pillow wedges do not work and can make the reflux worse. She said the incline has to be gradual. I went online, and found this incline mattress pad on the JC Penny website and ordered one. We placed it on top of the mattress, instead of under it (as the picture illustrates), as it might get too compressed by the weight of the mattress. It works like a charm for my acid reflux problem. The pad is also very comfortable. Both my wife and I sleep better. It also eased my wife's neck and shoulder pain. April 26, 2015
Rated 5 out of 5 by Great Product Nice foam mattress wedge, It does have ridges on one side and it did not tell me what side to put up or lay down. But works well.. July 15, 2015
Rated 5 out of 5 by At last, some designer knew what the answer was...! My wonderful mattress was developing a slight dip near the top where I had to build up about 4+ pillows to help me with my acid reflux problem as well as help me sleep due to a flip flopped body clock! I saw several foam wedge products that only addressed one side of the bed as for sitting, etc. When I found this incline foam pad, I jumped for joy! When it came in, I took it out of the tightly bound package and took off my mattress and put the wedge into position. Well, let me tell you my bed looked strange as if it was on a magic carpet ride. I don't care, as now I'm sleeping so much better, no acid reflux and my sleep is almost returning to normal with the help of hormone supplements! Thank you JCP for finding this marvelous product. Highly recommended, if the slight slope doesn't bother you! I say who cares? My health is ALL that matters! November 19, 2014
Rated 5 out of 5 by Really helped my hubbie's snoring and trouble breathing! We have been looking for an incline item of some sort to help my husband's breathing and snoring. This did the trick! He loves it! It is also so comfy that when i laid on it i decided to order myself one! Being use to sleeping flat i found it hard to sleep in an inclined position so i returned mine. I simply rolled it up and tied it with a twine at both ends and put it in a large yard bag and took it back in my back seat of my car. Very easy to do and Penney store took it back no questions asked other than: "Is it defective" to which i answered "NO! I just could not sleep on it." It does flatten a bit under a mattress but not too bad. And it does not have an odor! April 11, 2015
Rated 4 out of 5 by Good incline I didn't place it between r mattress and box spring, for fear it would flatten out. Besides I wanted the incline and he didn't so I placed it on top of the mattress and put my mattress pads over it. Cause I have a latex allergy. But needed incline for my back. I had major surgery, rods, screws and cages to replace discs. It really helps. I am thinking about buying a Queen for when we visit down south. We eventually purchased a adjustable bed and I love it. But, the wedge worked great. U shouldn't b disapointed. January 27, 2015
