Rated 5 out of 5 by whit Great for storage
Bought this for more storage in our kitchen which had no drawers. Fit silverware, spices, coffeemaker, coffee grinder, toaster, kitchenaid, all my mixing bowls and all baking pans, except specialty -- muffin tins, etc. Amazing what it did to clear out our current shelves. Best purchase I could have made. Drawers are less than three inches high inside, and also do not roll out all the way, so you want to measure before getting a silverware tray. However, the drawers are perfect for spices.
Building-wise, I put it together myself in 1.5 hours, but I also enjoy that kind of thing. Use logic and don't depend on the arrows to tell you what is "front". You'll be able to tell from the photos what to do. Fyi, make sure you use the shorter screws for the towel bar -- the long ones will fit, but it will take you forever, and you need those for the spice rack on the other side.
Overall, very pleased with the appearance and storage capability.

I have been looking for a cart for several months, including the one I purchased from jcp.com. Decided that the jcp.com cart was the best buy (and it is!) But my cart will not be used in my kitchen -- but, instead will be used in my sewing room. I am a quilter and frequently with large quilts, I need a surface to place the bulk of the quilt while I sew. This cart does a great job of that AND stores some of my fabric stash. The spice rack is perfect for storing spools of thread and the towel holder holds additional fabric that I will need for a particular quilt. I love that it is on casters so I can place it against a wall until I need it. My suggestion is to "think outside of the box" and use this cart in other rooms besides the kitchen.

Rated 2 out of 5 by STLapartment Looks alright, but not worth the hassle!
I bought the black with the steel top for extra storage in my small kitchen. It looks alright, but is definitely not worth the hassle. The drawer does not seem durable. The wood cracked when screwing two of the screws and sits lower on one end than the other. The doors are slightly uneven and one of the handles will not tighten. Everything I pull the door open it rattles around. I bought this cart with a few other items, and JCPenney split my order into pieces. After being assured that I would not be charged more for shipping, I discovered (when the charges showed up on my credit card) that I was not only charged extra for shipping, but was charged TWICE for the cart! It was a major hassle to get the charges fixed.

Rated 1 out of 5 by ltroy Never again - Overpriced for quality
Only good thing I can say about the product is that shipping was faster than promised. When it first arrived I had to call and have one of the back panels replaced as it didn't line up properly. That arrived and then the door hinges didn't line up. Replacement arrived and it still doesn't fit like it should. At this point I give up. Would have returned it only it is too heavy to lift and repackage. The top has knots showing in the wood. This is the worse piece of furniture that needed assembling that I have ever purchased. Apparently there is no quality control at the point of manufacture. I purchased the one constructed of natural wood with the natural top.

Rated 4 out of 5 by Winpooh YOU build it !
I had a Large Kitchen Kart just like this one years ago which I loved but sold it with the house when we moved. It came fully assembled except adding the wheels and side bars. This one said assembly required so in my mind I was thinking I would have to add the wheels and bars. Was I shocked when I opened the box and saw 102 pieces and not one piece asembled. Four of us worked for about 4 hours getting this thing together. It turned out nice in the end,(but lesser quality than the one I previously owned) but don't think it is a piece of cake to assemble. If you are an experienced cabinet builder, you may possibly be able to build it in less time but amateurs beware.

Rated 5 out of 5 by Catwmn Great cuisine cart!
This cart was very well packaged and each piece was marked. The instructions were very well written and easy to follow. It took about 2 hours to assemble by myself. I have put a lot of knock-down furniture together and this was easy by comparison.
I chose the black cuisine cart with a granite top and it is really a great addition to my kitchen and looks very elegant. Lots of roomy storage, it would have been nice to have had an additional shelf but the one shelf is very sturdy. The large rubber casters allow the cart to move easily and the locking casters will be really handy. I love this cart and wish I hadn't waited so long to purchase it!

I do like the cart. However, as noted above there were multiple problems with the unit. I had to have my brother force the hinge into compliance....and had to purchase little lock nuts in order to get the hinge and hinge pins to work right so the door would swing shut. Also had to take the top off after the fact in order to "square" up the cupboard. Would recommend a level while you're working.... And there were many blemishes in the paint job that I did not expect to see. I would probably not order again. I've put lots of this type of stuff together. This one had the most problems of any I've ever purchased.

Rated 5 out of 5 by grannyof4 I love this kitchen cart!
I am very pleased with my kitchen cart - I ordered it in black. It is perfect for extra storage and the top two drawers are perfect for all of my spices (not very deep - just deep enough for spice containers). The black granite top is beautiful and it was packaged very secure with wood so it was not damaged. It took me and my husband only about 1 hour to put it together, the directions were very clear and everything was marked very clear with letters. It was delivered within 3-4 days after my online order. I do wish it didn't have the large wheels and just had smaller ones you couldn't see as much. It looks lovely in my kitchen.
