by Dontstealmypen Great looking, but it is FIRM
I have to agree with all of the other reviews. Overall, I love this chair because of the style and the size (not oversized and not too narrow). Comfort-wise, though...it's pretty firm. I've been using it every day for a week since I got it, and honestly, it's not bad. The seat and back cushions conform to your body, but retain very firm support. A little accent pillow might be good for additional back support.
The color is slightly darker than the online photo. As one reviewer said, it's more of a wheat color. Nice linen texture, and the gold stud trim gives it a cool Mid-Century look.
The upholstery would not stand up to kids, pets, or heavy use. This is more of a young professional or empty-nester piece of furniture. The quality of the craftsmanship could be better, particularly when it comes to the screw-in legs and the thinner padding in the arms, but still not bad for the price. I was also very pleased with JCP delivery. Great guys, fast and professional.
I got the ottoman that goes with it, and they look great together! Bottom line, this chair deserves 5-stars for style, but 3 or 4 stars for comfort.

I bought this chair for my mom who was coming home from rehab and needed something with a little more support. This chair met her needs perfectly!! Plus I was very impressed with the delivery men as they were very professional ! The little thing that impressed me the most was that they put shoe covers on so that they would not dirty our carpet. The weather was bad that day and we had several other delivery people in and out of our house and they were the only ones that cared enough to do this. They were on time and very courteous.

The two chairs we purchased replaced a leather sofa that was only four years old but the seating had collapsed and it did not look very nice so we replaced it with the Kaye Club Chairs and we are very happy as the seat is very firm which is what we were looking for and don't anticipate the seating collapsing on us. We also loved the studs around the bottom of the chairs and also the neutral color.

Rated 2 out of 5 by hojove nice chair, but...
First, let me say I am keeping this chair because I LOVE the looks of it. The color does look a little darker than on my screen, and it's a linen-looking fabric. I LOVE the nailhead trim. What I HATE is it is not comfortable - at all. I'm going to pay someone to restuff the cushions, it's that bad. If you like very firm cushions, then you'll be fine. For me, since I love the looks of it, I'm willing to keep it and incur the extra expense of restuffing on a brand-new chair.

I ordered 2 chairs and one was uneven. It was shaking pretty bad.
So I called to get a replacement and the replacement was uneven also. Talking about bad quality control. The chairs look great but poorely made.

Rated 5 out of 5 by cchunt4bargains beautiful chair
I bought this as an accent chair for my family room. I was looking for a classy chair to go with my new leather sofa, which also has nailhead trim. This is a beautiful chair! It is a little darker color in person than how it appears on the website, but still very neutral. Online it appears ivory, but it is more of a wheat color.

Slightly darker than shown online and for me that worked out perfectly! Nice clean styling and scale for a smaller space.
Delivered on time, great communication, and friendly delivery. Went off w / out a hitch. :) Great value!!

I ordered this chair on sale so the price was great. It was seating for the bedroom so I could sit and read. It is firm, but I like that. Delivery was within the time frame I was given and went off without a hitch.
