I bought this to help our allergies, we have two large dogs that sleep with us, so I put it in our bedroom. We leave it running all night (on Low, too loud on High). I've noticed a slight difference in my allgeries, I don't wake up quite so stuffed up or with such a bad headache, but it doesn't help with the doggy smell at all. My husband's allergies are still pretty bad, it hasn't seemed to help him all that much. We even opened up the back to look at the filters, expecting to see dust and dirt, and they looked clean after being on constantly for a few weeks. I would say that it's so-so, not fantastic. I really expected it to work better at that price.

I usually do research before making these purchases, but I needed one, it was on sale, and I could put it on my JCP credit card. Afterward, I tried to research the product, but couldn't find any third-party, objective reviews.
Both my cat and I have allergies and asthma, and I believe this purifier has helped remove some of the dust mites and debris from the air. Again, no scientific proof, just my personal experience. And the proof in the filters. Which brings me to my complaint...
Finding the filters has been a problem. The manufacturer/distributor, Cohesion Products, doesn't have a website. Your only option is to call the number on the sticker adhered to the back of the device. Recently, I called the number and only got a recording. I left a message but no one called me back. After two weeks, I called again and got the recording. I searched my email for a prior transaction and sent in a request that way. I got a response from a third-party fulfillment company. The filter cost hasn't increased in the four years I've had it. In between replacements, I use my shop-vac to vacuum out the existing filter.
JCP would be doing itself and its customers a big favor by carrying these replacement filters.
This air purifier has lasted so much longer than I would have expected, considering the kind of use it gets. It provides some nice white noise in the bedroom, and it emits cool air, both of which contribute to a good nights' sleep.

Rated 4 out of 5 by Extemeclean The remote control makes it even better to use cause you don't have to bend down to turn it off & on.
I would highly recommend this product, at first I was unsure about the price . I have an upstairs & downstairs with cats , so I was going to get 2 smaller, cheaper ones. Glad I didn't . I don't care to spend the money as long as it does what it's suppose to do, and believe me it does . I am very satisfied, plus I got it on sale at 30% off at JC Penny, which made it even better.

We purchased 2 air purifiers and love the machines. Since we purchased them over 3 years ago, we have not been able to order the replacement filters.
J C Pennys management - if you truly want customers to keep shopping with you, why not carry replacement filters for products you sell. Do yourself and your customers a favor and begin carrying the replacement filters.

Love the product. Came quickly, great price. Easy to use and it does the job well. Wish the instructions included what everything does. I guess kind of like a computer, you have to know what things mean to understand instructions. But, it works, cleans the air, and does a great job. Recommended it to my children.

I was really thrilled to get this item on sale, I had been wanting to try an air purifier to see if it would relieve my morning congestion and sore throats. I am sleeping much better, even the light noise of the fan is soothing and the air seems less dusty. Very satisfied! Dee
