A great product which makes a warm delicious cup of coffee! I look forward to weekends when I want to brew a full pot to use more features!!

Rated 1 out of 5 by Joseph Reservoir overflow makes unit inoperable
We have had this coffee maker for several months, and really enjoyed the coffee and convenience. We did notice some of the issues others had mentioned in their reviews (water runs down the back of unit when filling, filters do not fit very well, very bright display), but we didn't consider any of these significant due to the quality of the coffee it brewed. However, my opinion changed today when a filter that bent slightly when the machine was closed (due to improper filter fit issue) caused coffee to overflow onto the base of the unit. Before we noticed, the electronics had turned off, as coffee had infiltrated the base electronics, just as another reviewer had mentioned. It was not a large amount of coffee (maybe 1/2 cup). I have dried it out, but the unit is no longer operational. This is a design flaw, as you would expect that some coffee would fall on the base at some point. There are 2 design issues - the electronics were put into the base where they could get wet, and the base was not made waterproof. Today we purchased a competitors product at half the price with the electronics in the top of the unit. I won't have this issue happen again.

I bought mine three months ago and broke the carafe but cannot order a new one and I really miss my good coffee but am told no parts for this model please help me

I had this maker and it is not worth the money. Have had it in for repair and they will not honor the warranty any longer. It stopped working again! First time it boiled the coffee would not shut off. This time it only brewed one cup and stopped brewing.

This coffeemaker has some great features, adjustable on and off times, three different warming levels for the warming tray, a permanent filter, and brews good tasting coffee extremely fast. The downside is this is the 2nd Cuisinart product that we have had that didn't come close to making it to the end of its warranty. Our first Cuisinart coffeemaker lasted a little over 3 years, just past the warranty. The one before this one quit a little after two years with a strong burnt smell. This one worked fine until one day it just would not heat the water. We do not abuse our appliances and only make a pot of coffee in the morning and a pot in the afternoon. I think that it is only fair, at these prices, that a coffeemaker should last at least till the end of its warranty. We will be looking for another brand.

This was fantastic coffee maker. It worked flawlessly and did everything very well until a few days ago. The unit was programmed to turn on automatically in the morning but someone forgot to put the glass carafe in place. The unit turned on, the coffee and grinds overflowed many cups worth all over the base and counter top. The liquid infiltrated the base with all the control buttons and display. The coffee maker is now completely dead.
Accidental overflow is something that's likely to happen to a great many users. The coffee make should either not have the control panel on the bottom of the unit or there should be a sensor that turns off the unit if there is no carafe in place .
If you are certain that you will never have cause an overflow, then this coffee make is great. However it's a total waste if there is any significant spill or overflow.

I really like the look of this coffee maker. The water pours nicely into water reservoir and after into the coffee cups. I like how you can see the water levels when you pour into the reservoir. The coffee is so hot, which should be a good thing, but unfortunately it has a burnt taste. I have tried all settings, the hottest setting is makes the worst tasting coffee. This is frustrating because we are using expensive coffee that usually tastes delicious in our old coffee maker and our french press. I love coffee and we had a Cuisinart Coffee maker before and this wasn't a problem. I am tempted to take it back and try a the older model Cuisnart Coffee maker. Also there was no instruction manual in the box when we first purchased. I am wondering if there is something I am doing wrong.

I truly like my coffee maker,but shipping it to my home was something else. First it was shipped ups and got e-mail and ups wanted to pay to get it early ect.which I did not do. Than it got transferred to the postal service for delivery. Why pay two shippers? It took from Dec.27 until Jan,6 to recieve this item.
