Rated 4 out of 5 by fuzzymitton2 Great Suction & Capacity-So Far So Good!
I'm a very satisfied customer of the Electrolux Ergorapido Stick Vac which has been my product of choice, thru jcp.com, for the past 6 years. Having cats, I do quick vacuuming throughout the day as needed and have placed my stick vacs conveniently around the house. I liked the description of the Hoover and at twice the price of my other cordless vacs I expected twice the performance, capacity and battery life. I have not been disappointed yet. The Hoover uses a removable battery which charges in it's own base, large capacity dirt cup which is very easy to empty and clean and the suction and "wind tunnel" action are excellent! It's very light and flexible and can get underneath almost everything. It's attractive and stylish and relatively quiet in use. So far I am very pleased and happy with my investment. Total satisfaction can't be measured until I've had it long enough to determine the battery life and longevity of the product overall. But, to date, I love using it on my carpets and floors!

Rated 5 out of 5 by CAL44 Best Stick Vacuum
I bought this great lightweight Stick Vacuum several months ago. This was at the recommendation of my brother & his wife (who had 2 of them and had also bought 2 more for their married children for Christmas. I used their vacuum while having the use of their 'holiday' home - I was sold! and bought one for myself. Our 4-level townbhouse is fully carpeted - stairs- closets-laundry - bathrooms - the works... We have a built in vacuum - but for a mid-week freshener, I use this little Linx -- the battery lasts (if it's a quicker run through). Excellent pick up even on the uncarpeted kitchen area - and it picks up well into corners, under beds, etc. perfectly. Far superior brushing and suction to a previous unit I had. Battery charges quickly and easily - all in all not a thing to say against this great unit. Definitely recommend.

Rated 5 out of 5 by cleandeniseu This product is excellent
So I've had this product for about a month. In our house we have mostly hardwood floor but we also have a small area of carpet. I thought this vacuum did excellent on both areas. One of its features is that its cordless which is really nice when you have a five and a half month old baby and need to do some house cleaning, wearing them. It also fits into spaces that my other vacuums could not to due the fact they were more bulky. The vacuum lasts through the whole house, we live in 1200 square foot area. It's really nice that its light weight at 8lbs. Also to transition from carpet to hardwood the button is located in the handle which is nice that I don't have to bend down. The only thing I don't like is sometimes transitioning from carpet to hardwood (or vice versa) it will miss some small particles of dirt.

Rated 5 out of 5 by LMshops2 Perfect for wood floors
Hoover vacuums are the only ones I will use, always reliable and last a long time. Only had this Lynx for 3 weeks but I really like it. I ordered it for the sole purpose of doing my wood floors and kitchen and bath tiles. It's very light weight and easy to maneuver. Battery lasted a full 30 minutes, enough to do my whole upstairs floors. I did use it on my area rugs with the brush running and it picked up everything. Has good suction. Battery charges very quickly. Dirt cup is easy to empty and reattach. It stores neatly in my closet right next to my Hoover Wind Tunnel which I also love. I use it for my carpeting downstairs and when I need to use attachments for furniture etc. I would recomend the Lynx highly. It would be perfect for a camper, doesn't take up alot of storage space.

Rated 5 out of 5 by TravellinMom Small and convenient
I just bought this vacuum when I moved into a smaller apartment. I love the cordless feature! Just charge it every few days, and it does fine. I have two small children, so naturally there are crumbs to be vacuumed up daily! I love that I can just turn it on and clean up those little messes without any fuss. I use it several times a day, and with no inconvenience at all. I don't even store it in the closet, just stand it in a corner (since it is so small) and grab it when I need it. It is small in general, but still stands at a convenient height for comfortable vacuuming. Because it is pettite, it gets under edges and chairs easily! It also does heavier duty when I need to vacuum the whole apartment every week. Emptying it is so easy--just press the release button, while holding it over your trash, and it dumps right in. I wouldn't recommend it to clean a house, although it would work for those little messes nicely. For under 1000 sq ft, I can't imagine a better vacuum!
As for the downside, as I said: not for vacuuming an entire, bigger home. And the bagless canister doesn't hold much; I empty it every 2-3 days. Nothing that isn't to be expected with a small vacuum, though. Haven't had it long, so I can't say much for it's durability, but I've had Hoovers before and they usually hold up well. Seems to be good so far!

Rated 5 out of 5 by rwb821 The reasonably stick vac that works
This stick vac is fairly light weight with a li-ion battery. The vac has an indicator of how much battery power is left. You can use it with or without rotating brushes. The vac gets quite close to the edges. It is fairly quiet. The price is significantly less than some but a bit more than others. This vac replaced a less expensive model from a different manufacturer that sound like a large fish. The batter on that vac only lasted one year and never held a charge.

Rated 2 out of 5 by Kristi111980 Great at first...
There are a lot of pro's to this vacuum. First off, the battery has a pretty long life span. I am able to clean all of the tile in my home with one charge. It is easy to empty/clean, you can see when it is full. It is really light weight and easy to control/can fit in tight area's.
The major downside was that this product only lasted about six months before the handle started to separate from the bottom part. If you look close at the picture, you will see a line between the stick handle and body. I was never aggressive with the vacuum, it just seemed that over time from pushing and pulling, it just gave. This would cause the vacuum to shut off mid-clean and I would have to press down and re-attach. After about 9-10 months, it really started to lose its sucking power. No matter how much I cleaned it or gutted it, I couldn't get the sucking power back, to the point of where if there were dog hair on an area rug, it would lump the hair with the brush and push around the rug/floor.
Maybe it was just not meant to handle pets or pet fur? Either way, it didn't last a year and was not cheap, so if you are expecting something to be long lasting, I would definitely recommend buying the extended warranty and making sure it covers all moving parts/etc.
For me, it ended up being a pricey throw away...

Rated 5 out of 5 by cleanhouse93 excellent product that very much meets my needs
I wanted a lightweight rechargeable vacuum and after searching many sources I found this stick vac made by the Hoover Company. Of course, they have been in business for many years and one would hope they are producing an excellent product. Hurrah!! I was right. A couple of weeks ago I ordered *the Hoover Platinum Cordless Stick Vacuum. I was not disappointed. It has wonderful suction on carpets and hardwood. Battery power runs for almost 30 minutes on a single charge. It recharges quickly. It is easy to vacuum under furniture. It is very sleek in appearance. The windTunnel technology and cyclonic filtration makes it comparable to those big, heavy vacuums. Buy one, you will love it.
