Rated 5 out of 5 by Sash Rod Very good product. Comes with install illustration. Remember to leave space at top approximately 1/2 inch for top of shears if shears have two openings for the rod and you use the second opening. Sturdy and overall good quality. Good price. Satisfied purchase. May 18, 2016
Rated 2 out of 5 by Hardware issue The rods were fine. As pictured, they are flat and come in the right width. My issue was with the mounting hardware. I ordered two packs with 2 sets of rods each to hang curtains on French doors. Both packs came with the mounting hardware for one set of rods. Because of the rod design, the mounting hardware was unusual and I couldn't find more in any store. I ordered these rods for a theatrical set and needed them immediately. I ended up using cup hooks to hold the bottom rods in place. If these had been for my home, I would have set them back. April 6, 2016
Rated 4 out of 5 by Very easy to install I read other reviews prior to purchasing this sash rod. One of the reviews stated that "command strips" were used so that the door would not need to be drilled. I did the same thing and it worked perfectly. The rods were very easy to install, and since I used command strips to keep them in place, I was able to make any adjustments very easily. April 16, 2016
Rated 5 out of 5 by Just what I needed! Had a little trouble with shipping on the first order....had to cancel and reorder. Customer service was great. Gave me 20% discount and free S&H for my trouble. Rods were exactly what I needed and difficult to find. Thanks JCP! April 20, 2016
Rated 5 out of 5 by Just what I needed! We purchased these to hang sheers in our front door sidelights. I only saw one other store that had the size I needed an they cost twice as much. I hung the rods using command strips rather than drill holes in the door. March 2, 2016
Rated 5 out of 5 by All it should be. Sizing to easy to install Review says it all. It's a rod inthe style we needed & priced right. February 3, 2016
Rated 5 out of 5 by Love the flat rods I replaced a traditional rod for this in my living room window, it looks so much better flat, and allows the molding to stand out from the sheers rather then be covered up by it. Very easy to install as well. January 25, 2016
Rated 5 out of 5 by Quality exceeds my expectations! This is a great rod...better quality than I hoped for! Highly recommend! Elaine February 3, 2016

Answer:
The package contains one PAIR of rods. If you wish to use only one rod per window, that is your choice. In my case, I used one PAIR of rods per window. Hope this helps.

Answer:
There are 2 rods per box. I used both rods for 1 window next to an entry door. One rod on top and the other on the bottom, I had 2 windows to cover so I ordered 2 boxes with 2 rods in each box,

rods dip slightly in the middle. It sounds as if these should hold a bit more. Has anyone tried a heavier curtain with these rods?

I just need a 15" traverse rod that has or allow sliders in the back so I can hang a panel with pin hooks.

Answer:
No, there isn't an opening in the back of the rod for the sliders to slide.
You could probably use the oval shaped clip on rings that attach to the pleat in the drapery, but there might not be enough room between the rod and wall.
I used to do that all the time with smaller windows, but I used regular drapery rods with the round or oval clip on rings.
Hope this helps!
