Rated 1 out of 5 by DB74 Terrible cookware set
I purchased this cookware set online and I used it as soon as it arrived. There terrible! The bottom turned brown after 2 minutes! I decided to make some white rice to test them and when the rice was cold I turned it over to see the bottom and my white rice was a gray color! The pan stained the rice. Honestly I had high expectations for this cookware set since its from jcpenny. I was really disappointed. I bought it because I read other reviews and I had to make one of my own.
My advice is spend a little more to get a better cookware set these are NO good!

Rated 1 out of 5 by GypsyAnna A purchase I regret
I purchased this set a week ago because I thought stainless steel meant, you know, it didn't stain easily. And that they were generally easy to clean.
My experience so far: I washed all the pots and pans as soon as I took them out of the box, and dried them. I boiled some eggs, and the bottom of the inside of the pot became discolored. I popped some popcorn - burned a little of it - and the bottom of the inside and outside of the pot become discolored, and the small bits of burned popcorn won't come off, even with scrubbing. I haven't tried steel wool yet since I don't have any in the house - our previous pots and pans were coated and we couldn't use steel wool on them. I cooked an omelet in a pan, using olive oil so it wouldn't stick, and the pan now as a sticky film that won't come off. None of these things were cooked at full heat - they were cooked at medium to medium high heat.
If this had just happened to one pot or pan then okay - quality control can't catch everything. But three out of three?
I wish I'd kept my old pots and pans so I could return these.

I recently purchased this set for my mom for mothers day. I so can't wait to bless her with this gift. First off what a great price. The set looks really great. The stainless steel has a great finish to it. In terms of cooking with set I have not. That will be for mommy to try as it is her gift. Based on the previous reviews that should not be a problem at all.

Rated 5 out of 5 by kathyrozar This is an AWESOME set pots.
I can say that we have had our set now going on 18 years. They still look the same as day 1. Right now I am purchasing 2 sets. 1 for my sister in Tennessee and the other for my niece and her husband. I know they will love them as much as we have.

Rated 5 out of 5 by IADentist Best product I've bought in years, Incredible value.
Bought this set on sale, the whole set is incredible. Makes cooking easy and clean up a snap. The pans are of great quality, sturdy, stain resistant and sleek looking. Also bought a set for my sister in college.

Rated 1 out of 5 by luv6dogs Disappointing.
My first thought was that the box wasn't very big. When I opened it I discovered that this cookware is so thin/light it feels like aluminum. The larger saucepan is the same size as the smaller saucepan from my old pans. The big soup pot is not; it looks like a small stock pot. Unless you plan to deep-fry your hash browns and egg you're better off reaching for your old non-stick skillet.
When I read the CARE, I read; "Warning: cookware is not oven/broiler safe." STAINLESS STEEL is not oven safe? One reason I bought this cookware was to stick a skillet under the broiler for browning a skillet meal!
