Rated 5 out of 5 by katshakes THE WHOLE MIXER WAS MORE DOABLE THAN BUYING MY BEATERS (ONE BEATER WAS BROKEN)
I ORDERED 2 CUISINART HAND MIXERS--ONE FOR A FRIEND, AND ONE FOR MYSELF. THEY ARRIVED AT MY DOOR IN RECORD TIME. I WAS NOT EXPECTING THEM SO SOON. GREAT MIXER FOR QUICK MIXING OF SMALL QUANITIES. EASY CLEAN UP AFTER USING THIS PRODUCT.

Rated 1 out of 5 by 11QualitySeeker This mixer is poorly designed and loud.
The first design flaw is the handle grip-- it is too wide and difficult to use. I have strong hands and medium length fingers but it is difficult to mix up one batch of cookies before my hand gets tired from gripping the handle. The second design flaw is thumb press buttons instead of an easy slide lever to engage the beaters and increase or decrease speed. There are three separate thumb press buttons on the wide handle for 1) on & off; 2) increase speed; and 3) decrease speed. The on/off button is easily accessible and at the top of the handle grip, but you have to almost release your grip to slide your thumb down to press the panel button to increase or decrease the speeds. At high speeds you must be careful not to lose control of the mixer as you release your thumb to turn the speed up or down. Also, the first speed seems to be more of a "jump start" and throws ingredients from the bowl before it slows to its slowest gentle speed. The mixer is powerful, but has an ear-piercing high pitch particularly on speeds 3 & 4. Also, most manufacturers provide you with two sets of beaters that include thick 1/4" beaters with a slight indentation in the middle which work so well for most recipes -- but with this mixer you only get one set of thin wire beaters and one cheap wire whip. If I hadn't already thrown the box away before I used this mixer it would have been returned.

Rated 5 out of 5 by Pattimanhatti Great product, love the digital speed dial and the slow speed to begin mixing with.
I have gone through quite a few hand mixers in the past 39 years. It seems the last 3 I have purchased never had a slow speed even when advertised as having one.and I was sick of having whatever I was making splatter all over the place on low speed! .I have been researching mixers and went on the recommendation of Cuisinart mixer from "America's Test Kitchen' I received my 7-Speed Hand Mixer and have used it..absolutely LOVE it.. It is modern, quiet and the low speed is WONDERFUL! and I like that it came with a whisk...cannot wait to use it more!

Rated 5 out of 5 by saratogagrandma gift for my daughter - It's her favorite christmas present!!!
Her favorite features includes..
"easy to clean and the power to mix BIG batches of chocolate chip cookies. The handle is comfortable even for a lefty like myself. The only downside is that the slow setting could be slower because smaller batches may splash a bit. Next time I will try a larger bowl to see if that helps reduce splashing. Overall, this is a great mixer and I would definitely buy this for a friend".

Rated 5 out of 5 by Abily This product has lots of power.
This product is quiet compared to my last hand mixer but not as quiet as my vintage heavy duty Sunbeam mixer. Still I am satisfied with the noise level. At this point I haven't used it a great deal but find it to be very powerful for a hand mixed.

i have purchased 3 other name brands in the last 10 years and each one had burnt up. some after quit a while and some shortly after i purchased them. so far i really like this one, as long as it doesn't start smoking and smelling bad.
