I am concerned that the rug could scratch my hardwood floors. Is it safe on wood?
It's perfectly safe on a hardwood floor as there's nothing on the rug itself that will harm your floor. But unless it's anchored with a piece of furniture, it's going to move, but any rug without a backing is going to do that. If you're planning on using it for an area rug with no furniture on it to keep it in place, I wouldn't recommend it as you can't use a rug pad on hardwood. We put our rug in the kitchen but used double-sided tape on all 4 corners to keep it from moving, but we don't have a wood floor in there. So again, unless you're putting it under a piece of furniture, I wouldn't recommend this rug for a floor that can't have a rug pad underneath.
