by Mmaj Weak Material
The material is not stable enough to support it's own weight once installed. The bottom pleat area wrinkles and folds under it's own weight. The stabilizer/spacer clips should have an adhesive to hold the material once opened and give relief to the product weight. I would not recommend this product in the larger window span sizes. Maybe a smaller span would be acceptable. Thinking the honeycomb style fabric may be more rigid.

by HandySandy Just What I Needed
I ordered this product after looking at many other arch window shades. This product is far better quality and much sturdier than others. I would have given all excellent, however the instructions could have been clearer.
Be sure to measure 1st as I had to cut it down to fit my window. The cutting can be difficult. You will need a hacksaw and patience to hand cut the shade material.
Must say it came out better than I thought. See pictures.

by ALmom99 Better quality than I expected for the price.
I was looking for a similar product to the custom shades and found this linen shade. I'm so glad I didn't spend the money on the expensive shade! The quality of this product is better than I expected. It keeps the heat out and blocks some of the light which is exactly what I was looking for. I did have to cut it to fit which I admit took a little time but was well worth it! Check out the pictures of the finished product.

Rated 4 out of 5 by Pleasedcustomer Better than expected
The quality of this shade is better than I expected. It's kind of a stiff fabric material with a plastic base. I knew I would have to cut it to fit my window and was pleased that I could do it easily. I was able to saw through the plastic base and then used sharp scissors to cut the fan part. Hardware is included to secure it in place, but I didn't use it. The base sits on the window sill and the fan part just touches the window frame. That holds it in place nicely. The shade does not darken the room. A lot of light comes through. In my case, I do want it to let less light through, so I just covered the window with some paper which is not visible from the inside. I'm very pleased with the shade and will be ordering another for a different window.

Rated 4 out of 5 by Shopper19690 Nice Looking Shade
I bought these for the arch window in the bedroom. It looks very nice, not much wiggle room installing. It doesn't block out the light, I didn't expect it to. I purchased an inexpensive window tint liner (not at Penneys) and that helped a lot if you need it darker.

this product is priced very well for the quality. Unfortunately, it did not fit my window. If there is a size for your windows, I would highly recommend.

Rated 5 out of 5 by Tempo This product was better than I expected
This product was better than I expected, it was easy to assemble/ Great design is versatile and easy to alter for a perfect fit. Does not black out the light, light is filtered. I needed a black out so I put a black out film on the window and used this pretty shade to cover that. I actually used two half rounds to make a full circle. Worked great. I used peel and stick velcro to hold them together.

Rated 5 out of 5 by Matanzas Very simple install
I had to cut 3.5 inches off of 29.5 shade to fit my window. I used an E-xacto saw (fine) to cut through the plastic and a very sharp kitchen knife to cut the fabric... sliced through it like butter.. No screws needed as the adhesive on the brackets hold very well. It doesn't sag... looks good for the price paid. I looked at the instructions and thought.. oh my this is going to be a job.... but it wasn't.. fast and simple.
