Rated 1 out of 5 by Broke within 4 months Loved having these in our kitchen, easy to use but one day I go to slide them up and they won't go up. Just stayed down- string inside was still attached, nothing was bent or appeared broken just did not want to slide up. March 28, 2016
Rated 4 out of 5 by HELP!! I need the installation instructions! So far this is a lovely shade, however...I have no installation instructions and I am not familiar with these brackets. I can't even figure out how it is placed. If anyone has any ideas I would greatly appreciate it. March 15, 2016

Rated 5 out of 5 by GREAT SHADES FANTASTIC SHADES!! GREAT PRICE. ABOUT HALF OF WHAT THEY WANTED FROM OTHER STORES AND NOT AS GOOD AS QUALITY AS THESE. WISH WE GOT THESE 35 YEARS AGO. VERY EASY INSTALLATION AND I'M NOT A HANDY MAN. ASK MY WIFE. February 24, 2016
Rated 5 out of 5 by Great value Husband installed blinds on French doors, was easy and looked great . Purchased cool white blended in nicely. Ordered 64 in length a little short for door but worked for us. January 19, 2016
Rated 5 out of 5 by Great Blinds and great value These blinds are great. They provide a nice balance of privacy while allowing just enough sunlight in. I purchased the white blinds, and they look and feel very expensive for the price. I would highly recommend purchasing these blinds. January 19, 2016

Answer:
the closeout shades that I bought are factory sizes. We have slowly bought these for each window in our house over the years. They worked for all our windows except the large bay window. A few years back we bought the custom size shade for that window--and the custom sizes cost quite a bit more-- and are pleased with it and glad we did it. I'd suggest that you look hard at the sizes to see if one would fit. Our extra length in a shade does not matter. and the width worked inside the window frame without being exact.

Answer:
No, they come in the sizes listed. I wouldn't want to attempt taking them apart and trying to cut them. Wait for a sale and get the custom ones. Most of mine are custom and we are really pleased with them.

Answer:
I have owned some of these shades for many years and have only dusted them. I am considering taking them to a professional shade cleaning firm. I would be uncomfortable wetting them myself and cleaning.

I have often seen that the actual shade is a bit narrower (1/2 inch or so) than what is listed on the box. I just want to confirm the actual size of the blind. Thanks.

Answer:
Yes. The head rail width is exactly as stated (36" shade has a 36" headrail), fabric measures 3/16" narrower than headrail. I hope this helps!

Answer:
Our windows are 36" that is what we ordered & they fit exactly. If yours are not the sizes listed I am not sure if they can be cut to fit you could ask the associate.

I do not have the installation instructions for this shade. Does anyone happen to have the instructions or maybe would you be able to explain to me how the bracket connects to the shade. I have installed plenty of window hardware but this is completely foreign to me. Very frustrated!!! Thank you ;-)

Answer:
Hi, you need to mash down on the metal part and push shade onto the bracket. The plastic pull takes a little elbow grease as well to attach to middle of bottom shade. Gently but firmly push unit it snaps in place. I hope this helps. If not then contact company so they can send you instructions.
