Product Description

Saratoga cut--to-width blackout shade features a light-blocking layer sandwiched between two layers of vinyl for privacy and light control. Note: Roller shades will be slightly narrower than the width ordered; to avoid the resulting light gap on each side and to achieve maximum privacy and light control, consider outside mount.

  • cordless product safe for homes with young children and pets
  • cut to the exact width you need from 15" to 73¼" wide
  • embossed vinyl with the look of fabric
  • fringed bottom hem
  • white on street side except ivory which is the same color on both sides
  • heavy-duty spring roller mechanism allows you to adjust shade to any height

Fits windows up to 64" long. Inside or outside casing installation. Window must be at least ¾" deep for inside mount, 2¼" deep for flush inside mount. Mounting hardware and instructions included. Shades wipe clean with a damp cloth. Imported.

To Order: You will be able to specify the exact width you need for your shade. For inside mount, subtract 1/8" from your overall width to account for mounting brackets.

Note: If you are ordering more than one shade within the same size range and want the shades cut to different widths, you must place each shade in the shopping bag separately.

Spring motor roller shades are manufactured with approximately 8” of extra fabric added to the length. This is required for the proper operation of the spring activated roller mechanism.

FREE SWATCH: If you would like to receive a swatch of the fabric prior to ordering the item, please e-mail customerservice@phaseii.com to receive a sample swatch of fabric. Please include your name, address, item description and color that corresponds with your selection. Allow 5 days to receive the swatch.

Rated 5 out of 5 by Perfect Shades Love these shades! They were so easy to install! Would recommend these to any one who wants a Beautiful Shade! Provides Privacy when you want! Easy to raise when needed. Great for any room in the house! January 13, 2016
Rated 5 out of 5 by AWESOME I HAVE BOUGHT 13 OF THESE AND ALSO MY FRIEND HAS ALSO BOUGHT SOME FOR HER HOUSE AS WELL, THEY ARE EXCELLENT TO BLOCK LIGHT AND LOOK SO WONDERFUL TOO . I WILL BUY MORE, SO WORTH THE MONEY!!!! August 22, 2016
Rated 4 out of 5 by A very inexpensive way to dress your windows nicely These roller shades were custom cut in width and sent out in one day. I couldn't believe how fast they arrived. They are a great weight and look very nice. I didn't do a great job measuring the window (don't measure old blinds) so we needed to adjust the hardware a bit to make the roller shades fit. I am very happy. June 17, 2016
Rated 5 out of 5 by Great choice to cover my windows in my new home I just moved into my first home and needed to figure out window treatments. I wasn't ready to spend a fortune until I know what works and what looks good. I went for these because of the price and the custom fit, but truthfully I could see sticking with these for a long time. They work perfectly! January 6, 2016
Rated 3 out of 5 by Not bad for price Timing had it that we got these shades at a tremendous discount. They've been fine so far. The material is thinner than the shades that were on the windows before, so time will tell how well they hold up. The main problem we had was in ordering them. They were custom sizes so we followed the guidelines on the MEASURE tab at the link, "helpful blinds and shades guide" to measure them. For an outside mount (which we have), the only instruction given for measuring the width is, "measure exactly where the window covering with be." We took that to mean the width of the fabric part, and they came in way too short. After several phone calls and discussions with different sales people at JCP.com and the stores (who all gave different instructions), we took the word of one of them and measured from the tip of the fixed flat pin to the tip of the pin on the other side WITH IT PUSHED IN ALL THE WAY. JCP took back the old shades and reordered them for us with the new measurements, and they came in at the correct size. August 2, 2016
Rated 3 out of 5 by Does the job. This is a vinyl shade with a decorative fringe that is cut to measure for your window and available in a variety of colors. I agree with other reviewers that it lets in a lot of light on either side if cut for the inside. I also agree with the reviewers who say don't make any adjustments. We debated between 22 3/8 and 22 1/2. We should have gone up instead of down, but we were close and it's fine. The shade itself covers 20 inches only. Fortunately, there is a neutral wrap around the window, so it doesn't gap, but it does let light in. We just needed the privacy, so it serves our purpose and the color choice was spot on, so I am a satisfied customer. August 22, 2016
Rated 4 out of 5 by Nice looking shades at an affordable price. I had purchased these same shades for bedroom windows and liked them very much. When it came time to buy some for our living room windows, we decided to buy the same ones. We waited for a good sale and bought them at a great price. They look very nice in the windows. My only complaint is they don't roll up as high as I would like, so you have to physically roll them at times. But overall, I am very happy with the purchase and would recommend these shades. August 15, 2016
Rated 4 out of 5 by Exactly what I wanted These blinds were exactly what I wanted and I would certainly order them again. Only one complaint....you either need to find a better way to cut them or a new person/machine to cut them. They all had jagged edges and I had to trim each blind by hand to try to straighten them up. I was able to make them look decent but I could've cut them better myself in the first place. My "meets expectations" is only fair for the fact that they were not cut satisfactory. Other than that, I like the blinds. August 2, 2016

Answer:
I had very similar shades from Penny's for 20 years and there was very little if any curl. Maybe a few had a 1/4 inch of curl but not more. These new one's we mounted about 2 weeks ago are about the same so far.

Answer:
I've purchased 8 of these shades. Although I don't have to use the full length, I've had no issue with them curling. There are a few roll "ripples" when first hung, but they straighten out quickly. I think these are great shades for the price. I've had 4 of them for several years and they have held up well. Because I liked those so well, I recently purchased 4 more. I hope this helps!

I ordered the exact size of inside of window. My window was a odd size. It fit perfect. The shade itself is
not as wide as I would like but you need the roller part to fit in.

If I measure the width from tip to tip of the roller to be 23 and 5/8, how much shorter is the fabric itself?

Answer:
I would estimate at least 1/2 inch on either end - so about an inch or more - I would rather have it too wide than not enough - the one I purchases was wider than the window which ended up being fine was it didn't allow any light in at all!

Answer:
There is almost an inch on each end between the tip of the roller and the start of the shade. When I ordered, I measured the width inside my windows and ordered that width of shade. I don't think they count the ends in the sizing. My blinds fit perfectly inside my windows and the metal hangers actually flare out a bit outside the window so that makes the blind fit inside the window with the metal ends just outside the window frame. Hope this helps.

Answer:
I ordered 27" and they sent me 25" so I am not sure how they measure. Now I have to return it and reorder. My measurement was for the fabric part only so it's possible they measured the 27" from metal to metal.

Can you tell me if these roller shades account for any extra material at the top? What would the length be if you rolled them completely down without anything left at the top?
Thanks
