Rated 5 out of 5 by from Very satisfied with the service and products! I bought my home 5 years ago and the furnishings were very old and drab...I had new windows installed and then went to JCP Home store in Fresno, CA a couple weeks ago and bought new drapes, sheers and double rods - had them installed....OMG!! They look SO great - I am so pleased with them, the great installer of rods and Sharon Nunez who has to be the best store employee I've EVER dealt with!

Rated 4 out of 5 by from Very nice, maybe not good in tight spaces This is very pretty and very sturdy. However, in order to get the rods in you have to slide it through the hole of the supports as opposed to setting it onto the supports so you need enough space on at least one side of the window to be able to do that. Again, very pretty though! It's working great in our window.

Rated 4 out of 5 by from Looks good, a little trouble installing. These look beautiful with my curtains and were mostly easy to install. The screw holes are behind the curved bits so that it's hard to get a screwdriver in there and tighten it down all the way. I had to get my husband to help since he was able to press hard enough at an angle to get the screw to turn.

Rated 5 out of 5 by from The rods are sturdy and the bracket are attractive. I really like my Prescott Double curtain rods with the finals it give it such an elegant look. I would highly recommend this product to anyone wanting to change their curtain rods for a more updated and sophisticated look.

Rated 4 out of 5 by from What I neeeded Simple, traditional design curtain rod that I used above the windows in the dining room, living room and family room. I purchased 6 rods (3 double and 3 single) in two different sizes for use and have hung them all now. Being able to select the color was key for me so I could match the rods to the rest of the rooms' decor. The only words of caution I would give to others when purchasing & installing are: 1) Do not intend to use the rods to their maximum length unless placing light weight fabric on them because more expanded the rod gets, the weaker it is in the middle. Plan on having at least 2 to 3 inches of overlap of the inner rod and outter rod for stability and preventing a sag in the middle. 2) When installing the brackets, do not place them too close to the window trim because the curtains can't cover the brackets leaving the window trim work exposed (not attractive).

Rated 5 out of 5 by from Beautiful, Quality Rod It is difficult to find double rods. It is even more difficult to find quality rods. JCPenney never disappoints regarding the quality of their rods. I ordered this one in antique pewter as this one isn't available in brushed nickel. It is simplistically beautiful. The color and appearance is true to the image posted, and everything was packaged very well so as to protect the rod from damage/marring of the finish. I have not rated the durability as it is new and I cannot comment on that at this point, but expect it to last as it appears to be made of quality materials. I highly recommend this rod. I rated the rod an excellent value as it was on sale and I also had a percent off coupon. It was still not inexpensive, but was an excellent value considering the quality of the item. The regular price is quite pricey, but this rod is not resin or painted plastic like the majority of rods that are sold elsewhere, and so the adage that you get what you pay for rings true -- hope when you are shopping for rods that JCPenney has them on sale and you'll be even happier with the purchase.

Rated 5 out of 5 by from A+++ I switched to grommet top drapes and really like the way these rods look in my living and dining rooms. The hardware was easy to install and looks very attractive because of the loops that the rods sit on - better than the plain supports that normally come with these rods. From the sides, you can see the fancy supports. The only thing I would do differently is get a longer rod (I got the ones that go out to 48 inches) so that the rods look thicker. I had to extend them to the max so you can see the smaller rod more than I would like. Overall, very happy with this purchase.

Rated 2 out of 5 by from Never met a more frustrating bracket The rods are ok if you get the smaller sizes. The larger ones really sag unless you use the middle brackets, which brings me to my summary... these brackets have to be the most frustrating thing I've ever worked with. Once you drill the holes into the wall, it is impossible to drill in the screws with the angle between the parts of the brackets that hold the curtains and the holes in the brackets. In order to avoid stripping the screws you must use a hand held screw driver, but still the angle almost guarantees that you must strip the screw in order to get it flush. Horrible design on the brackets. Give me a little space on the brackets, so I'm not ready to destroy the whole thing before I'm done. Anyone with any ideas on how to make this process easier, I would be all ears.

I'm planning to use clip rings to hang the front curtain panel and want to make sure the sheers on the back rod won't show at the top. Thanks.
