Rated 1 out of 5 by Farlee Started malfunctioning on day three
I had a small GE microwave for over 10 years, but the bottom finally stared to rust at the turntable. I decided to "go big or go home" with a new one, and Magic Chef has always had a good reputation. We got this and were initially pleased, although the door seemed a little less solid than the GE and needed to be pushed closed from the center or bottom...pushing the top wouldn't latch it. On day three I tried to cook a potato and the power cut off right at the end of the cooking cycle as if the microwave had shorted out. I thought we might have tripped a breaker, but that wasn't the case. After several minutes the power came back on, but I'm not taking any chances. I will be returning this immediately and looking for another brand. This was our household Christmas present to ourselves and I am so disappointed!

I love my new micro-wave - HOWEVER it did not come with a manual and therefore - I have not clue how to use all of its features except what is on the face of the micro-

I was totally pleased with this microwave. The size was exactly what I was looking for. This one replaced a much smaller, less powerful one that had less features and plus, the door would not stay open. That is a must when taking a hot dish from the microwave. The Magic Chef microwave does everything I need it to do and more and I would highly recommend it to others.

Rated 3 out of 5 by Babsalon I bought the stainless steel version. It is everything I wanted except for the noise
It is too loud when compared with the Cuisinart microwave oven that I had before this one.
