I've had this toaster oven for a few weeks now and have been able to use it for a wide variety of things. I love being able to melt my butter or cheese right onto my bread. The toast function takes a few tries to get the darkness just right and you have to make sure you turn the dial past 10 each time so that it stops at the right time. It's worked great though for the basics like toast and freezer waffles as well as baking small batches of frozen fish sticks and the like. It's been nice to not have to warm up the oven just to cook a few little things. I love the curved housing and the sleek design of the unit and the removable crumb tray makes cleaning and upkeep much easier. It would be awesome if the exterior didn't get so hot just for safety reasons, but that's to be expected with an oven.
I received this product as a sample to review, however I feel that it is a good value for the price and would have been happy had I purchased it.

Rated 5 out of 5 by LSmith54 Great Kitchen Appliance
The Oster 4 slice toaster oven is a great little appliance for toasting a sandwich, baking a few cookies, cooking single serve pizzas, and other popular snackitizers. The 4 slice title is a bit misleading, about 3 slices of sandwich bread fit comfortably. It is great for a single person, or college student in a dorm, but I would not count on it to cook dinner for 3 or 4 people. For afternoon, or after school snacks, I would be really careful who you let use the oven, the exterior gets really hot, so care must be taken not to leave anything on top, or nearby, and to not accidentally touch the glass door. The dials and settings take some trial and error, the timer is loud, but sounds like one of those old fashioned white dial timers. Baking is even and true to temperature, however it has taken twice as long to bake items than the package indicates.
Disclaimer: I received this product as a sample to review.

Rated 5 out of 5 by FoodLover96 I love this toaster over!
This toaster oven has been wonderful. I was without a toaster oven when I got it. I have used it to cook chicken, toast and frozen dinners, and I must say I have been impressed. It adjusts to to 450°, and has the option to either set it on a up to 30 minute timer or have it stay on indefinitely. I haven't broiled anything with it yet, but tomorrow I will be using some tilapia to test that feature. The small baking pan that comes with it is exceptionally handy, as it is durable and easy to clean. This toaster oven looks perfect in my kitchen, and it is small enough to give me an extra oven without taking up too much room. All in all, I am extremely fond of this toaster oven, and look forward to using it for a long time to come.
*I did receive this toaster oven as a sample to review. Even though I got it as a sample, I would have been more than willing to pay for this product and highly recommend it*

Rated 4 out of 5 by Sscamaro409 Great for cooking small jobs
This oven has made things a little easier in my kitchen. We are able to toast our bread to our own tastes without having to constantly adjust the setting. You can see the toast brown as it cooks and take it out at the appropriate time. Also, we eat a lot of fried foods and they reheat much better in the toaster oven than the microwave. There is not soggy, tasteless mess of fried food you normally get when using a microwave. Small snacks can be cooked in just a few minutes instead of waiting 20 minutes for the oven to preheat. However, it would be nice if the oven was a little larger to hold larger portions of food. The oven itself feels sturdy and the knobs feel tight, but the baking pan included feels very flimsy. Since the oven is so small it can make getting things out difficult. We have found the easiest way is to use a small pair of tongs to pull the rack out and then grab the baking pan. Overall, this oven has replaced our toaster and handles a lot of jobs that are just too small for our conventional oven.
I received this product free as part of a promo to review it.

It's an excellent size for a small kitchen. I'm slowly using all the different functions: bake, broil, toast, etc. I made a baked potato today. I didn't have to put on the large oven which makes my apartment an inferno in summer. It was great. The toast function has 3 choices: light, med., dark and cooks both sides, so goodbye toaster. The first time, watch it so you know which shade is for you.
For price and ease of function, I highly recommend it.

I have never owned a toaster oven before. Never saw the need. I have to say, after being given this toaster oven as a sample to review, I now know what I have been missing!
After opening the box after receiving it in the mail, my initial thoughts were...this is cheap. I mean, it looked nice, very nice....but it felt cheap and the front left leg had come off during shipping. I tried to get it back on, but to no avail. I figured that once I set it on my counter that it wasn't going to be moving much so I placed the broken leg under the toaster oven and went to work!
Aside from the tray feeling cheap and only able to hold 2-3 pieces of bread, it turned out that I loved it! I was able to toast my bread to the perfect level of brown. It allowed me the opportunity to toast my sandwiches, something I had never thought of doing at home. And the kids love it because they can make their hotdogs in it. Much better tasting than doing them in the microwave!
Again, I received this as a sample to review, but I would be will willing to spend the money on this product again and would reccommend this to anyone, especially those who have never owned a toaster-oven before.

Rated 3 out of 5 by momintx Works fine when you get used to it.
The overall design of the toaster is visually pleasing. However, the handle and knobs are made of a plastic that looks rather flimsy and I don't have confidence they will last.
The toaster does fine at cooking and toasting. However it took several attempts to determine how long to set the toaster. I burned several pieces of toast initially. But once you learned the timing of the timer, it should be fine.
I like the idea of the stay on feature where I can just use as a mini-oven and set a timer somewhere else in the kitchen.
However, I have not used for baking much, because the tray that comes with it is very small. It is also feels flimsy and was actually dented when I received it.
FYI - I did not buy this toaster oven, but received it as a free unit for testing/reviewing purposes.
