Rated 4 out of 5 by Lovely white, pinch pleat curtain These curtains are a lovely white (warm but not yellow) and hang beautifully once steamed. The fabric has a slight shine to it and a sort of raw silk texture. I hung them with clip rings for easier movement and an updated look. March 30, 2016
Rated 4 out of 5 by Sweepstakes Entry. These curtain panels are lovely and really complete my living room. Overall I'm very pleased with these curtain panels, exactly what I wanted for Christmas! I had searched locally at various stores and was unable to find a similar product. The only thing I didn't anticipate was having to professionally press them, as it was impossible to iron them myself. Perhaps a steamer would have come in handy, but I didn't have one. Anyway, this added to the cost, which was disappointing. December 24, 2015
Rated 5 out of 5 by Beautiful curtains I have always loved curtains purchased at JCPenney and these are no exception. They ironed out beautifully. They totally transformed the look of my room. July 29, 2015
Rated 5 out of 5 by Beautiful Silver Drapes These are beautiful and match my bedding perfectly. They are much thinner than my old drapes but I think they are more room darkening than they were. I love them! October 8, 2014
Rated 1 out of 5 by ugly shade of white The drapes look old already. I do not have the time or energy to return these and since they are for a spare bedroom, they'll stay for now. The fabric does not hang well and the white is atrocious, actually more gray than white. I have bought curtains from JCP before that were great, but Liz Claiborne is poor quality. July 25, 2016
Rated 5 out of 5 by loved these curtains These are truly blackout curtains. Very impressed with the pleats and material. July 25, 2016
Rated 4 out of 5 by The curtains are beautiful and classy looking Even though the curtains were beautiful, I had to return them because that color of gray was a little too dark for my room. If I purchased them again, I would buy a wider width for my window to achieve a fuller look. I'm considering buying them in white. July 19, 2016
Rated 5 out of 5 by Pinch pleated curtains These curtains turned out to be better than expected for the price. I was very pleased to find that they are machine washable. They can be either hung by the back tabs or old style pins (which I've used forever). Either way, they are very nice and easy care. July 18, 2016

Answer:
I just used a regular rod and they look fine. The pleats and pins are formed so you can slide in pins, but I didn't do that method.

Answer:
These do NOT take drapery pins which I love, there are loops on the back of the curtains and you simply put the rod through the loops, so easy and hang beautifully

Answer:
Yes. I sewed 2 panels together for each side of my window, making the drapes 120" across when pulled shut.

Answer:
I believe they are 30" wide. I have a very large window as well, so I just got multiple panels. They hang nicely side by side, so I don't think you would need to sew them, in fact, I wouldn't. The number of panels would depend on if you want to spread them out, or bunch together for an even fuller look. It would be your preference.

Answer:
I had the same problem. Have you considered Patio Door panels? They come in various widths and set on the right rod they can open from the middle or one panel opening right or left. Don't get caught up trying to sew panels together. In your case it sounds like one panel would work. Good Luck

Answer:
Yes, you can certainly sew panels together, just keep in mind that it won’t look as natural with 2 seams being sewn together. If you would like to purchase these we suggest buying at least 6 panels if you plan on stacking an even amount on each side and opening them up. You can get away with 5 if you truly want to create one solid piece to slide back and forth.

We do have a couple of alternatives that would only necessitate purchasing two panels for the width of your window. These would look a lot more natural and fuller than sewing several panels together to meet the width. This panel comes lined or with a thermal lining. Please see the links below.

Answer:
I bought these and my rod from end to end, including the extra on each end measures about 40". I ordered 2 panels and when I pull those across at night, they look really nice with some room to spare. These are in my bedroom. If I were ordering these drapes to fit 116", I think I would order 4 panels. Each panel is 30" wide. You would have to sew 2 together on each side. You would need 4 panels if you wanted to close those across the window when you wanted privacy. If you wanted just accent on each end, you would only need 2 panels. I did that in my livingroom. I have another pair of drapes (sheer) on rod to pull across.
