Rated 5 out of 5 by from Elegant Drapery I tried three different kinds of dark blue curtains and selected these for my situation. I wanted something that was a bit more elegant. I only need them to hang beside the window. They aren't used for covering. They hang beautifully and the fabric has a slight slub weave with a bit of sheen. The lining is white. The pinch pleats at the top are gorgeous and I loved being able to hang them on my rods with the back tabs. They look like custom draperies.

Rated 5 out of 5 by from Custom look for less money These panels give a nice custom drapery look with very little fuss. They come pleated with easy pole rod attachments in the back. No need for drapery pins, etc. (hand draw only). They are lined as well. I ordered the 120 length for my 10 foot ceilings and they pool a little on the floor (as they should).

Rated 4 out of 5 by from Look very nice and block light This set of drapes was purchased to replace the same set I bought many years ago. My first set has held up wonderful but our new kittens had made them very holey. Now since the cats are now older and well trained to use their cat tree instead of the drapes for climbing it was time to replace them.

Rated 5 out of 5 by from Excellent Store - Great Products. JC Penny is an excellent store with great deals. We bought Royal Velvet line of curtains and they installed in one day. The hard work of the people of JC Penny and Royal Velvet paid off. The curtains look great and very easy to maintain. :-) :-)

Rated 4 out of 5 by from Drapes what I was hoping for but.... I ordered my drapes a few weeks ago, (2) 84" and (4) 63". The 63' drapes came first. Appx two weeks later the 84" drapes were delivered. The delivery driver left the box in the rain and we didn't discover the box until very late in the day. We brought the box in which was soaked. I opened the box and found that the drapes were sealed in plastic bags within a plastic bag so I didn't worry about them. With the holidays approaching, I set the drapes aside until tonight when I finally went to hang them. The 63" drapes are perfect, color I wanted, fit I wanted, everything perfect. But when I went to open the 84" drapes I found that one was damp and growing mold and the other soaked. Very disappointed and not quite sure what to do. Going to let them dry out and go from there.

Rated 3 out of 5 by from Good value, but not the best quality, I ordered these before Christmas and they arrived in January. The existing drapes came with the house and were so old and worn the dry cleaners wouldn't clean them. I ordered these as replacement. The price was amazing. The new drapes are new, but they are not the same quality as the old. The pinch pleats are much farther apart and the pinch pleats themselves are not as deep, resulting in a drape that is not as full. The material is thinner (not as heavy) as I thought it would be, but it is growing on me. They are lined nicely, but the lining is not sewn to the curtain at the bottom and with the thinner material the furnace billows the two pieces in opposite directions and fills up the drape like a little pillow. I am going to try sewing them hem and lining together, If that doesn't work i'll pin on some weights. They are good enough for the price and I would recommend them.

Rated 5 out of 5 by from Excellent Product! Exceeded my expectations I had an inspiration picture that I was looking to create and these drapes met the challenge! I purchased the Warsaw color, pinch pleat and used rings to hang them. I had my windows dressed with custom treatments back in 2004 and was looking to update the look but didn't want to spend custom prices. I have to say that these drapes give the appearance of custom. I few weeks ago, I had a custom decorator come in for a different room and she couldn't believe that my drapes were off the shelf. Thanks Penny's! Now I just need you to stock the 37 inch wide and 108 long Warsaw so that I can complete another room!

Rated 5 out of 5 by from I'm glad they're back These drapes, although not the same JCPenney Supreme antique satin that have been around for years, are a good imitation. I only wish the lining was just a little bit heavier but all in all these are a great value and they are on sale frequently and are a good deal. I have used these for many years in many different homes and they have always proved to be great draperies. I actually ordered them out of the Greenville, South Carolina store and the sales clerk, Cissie, went way above and beyond to help me and make sure that I was satisfied. For the price these cannot be beat..... short of custom-made.

Do the curtains provide privacy for hanging in a bedroom?

Asked by: Stewartfan
Yes they do. Mine are in my bedroom and provide excellent privacy. They also darken the room just enough for the morning.

Color choice question

I am trying to decide between the linen or walnut colors. How dark is walnut? I want a neutral color but not something even close to white or ivory. And I don't want a "dark" drape either. Thanks!
Asked by: Linda
I ordered the linen color and it looks great with my wall color which might be described as khaki.

Unsure about what length to buy

I'm going to use these on my patio slider door (75" wide x 95" long). Is the length measured from the top of the curtain or from where the pinch pleats are, I'm not sure what size to purchase.
Asked by: Auntie
95 is from the top of the curtain. I had to use ring clips to give me an additional 2.5 inches as I really needed a bit more than 95 to touch the floor. Turned out that the ring clips gave me the look I was hoping to achieve. good luck!

Can these be used with a traditional traverse rod and the standard traverse rod hooks?

I have read all the answers, and there is conflicting information. I have traverse rods that have the regular pinch pleat hooks and then the traditional sharp hooks for the end wrap. Can these curtains be hung with the same hardware or not?
Asked by: scififan
They can be used either way. Rod Pocket pole, or add traditional hooks.

Is this drape fully lined from top to bottom?

The panel size fits my window, but I wanted a thermal lined drape. However, thermal lined drape does not come in the proper size.
Asked by: BobFrei
Yes with the exception of probably bottom 2". Unless you are covering a slider. The blackouts I believe are rubber backing and the other is more of a fabric and does stop the sun just not entirely blackout depending on the color that you are ordering. I thought I wanted blackout but really was glad I got the ivory that darkens the room only.
