by nathanvmc Great product, MFG support could be better.
I ordered this to replace an old mixed we had inherited from my wife's Grandmother that was 30+ years olds. The products shipped fast and was mostly as expected but the chrome finish on one of the beaters was flaking off. When I called Sunbeam for help they seemed happy to help and ship new ones but was out of stock and could not backorder. I asked what other options I had and they said I could call back in 4 weeks and see if they had them in stock. Called JCP and they are willing to return it, I guess I will have to return the entire product and wait for another to ship, seems silly.

Rated 4 out of 5 by Sweetqueen This product is light and comes with two glass bowls.
I have only used this product twice in two weeks, I think I am going to be very pleased with this mixer. I was looking for a lighter weight mixer and Sunbeam is a well known brand. My mother always had Sunbeam mixers and they were very good products. Hope this one will last for years.

I love this mixer, so much so I have it in candy apple red too, from sunbeam.com. I can't say enough good things about it. it works like a charm, is not too loud, has a burst of speed button. I love the glass bowls though they are heavy, I have purchased the stainless steel bowls that go with them too, actually the ones from the candy apple red mixer fit this. its just what I want. I have a kitchenaid and I use this more often. I love the ease of adding ingredients, unlike the kitchenaid causes me nothing but frustration. I love the hands on, I don't want a machine to do it for me. Plus, I have used sunbeams for years. I love this mixer and reach for it everytime, my recipes come out without failure with this, again, unlike the kitchenaid.

Rated 4 out of 5 by asobi mostly it is OK.
Cannot understand why my older smaller bowl would not fit on turntable. Seems they used the turntable from the Heritage series with a clip that tips the bowl. Trying to figure out how to break it off.
instead of a flat one. Have older bowls from previous units. was hoping to use.
would not deliver to store and was charged for shipping

Rated 5 out of 5 by Holly This product does all that I expected.
The mixer is light weight and yet is powerful enough to do a great job for all my mixing needs. I like having two sizes of bowls for any mixing use, large or small.

Rated 1 out of 5 by Beee33 this product is a poor quality electric mixer-very disappointing-do not buy!
I bought this to replace my old Sunbeam mixer which was fantastic. This updated model is a cheap imitation of an older, reliable model. This model has super heavy glass bowls which become even heavier when filled with dough. The mixing blades are flimsy and do not touch the bottom of the bowl so the mixing is not even and at the end I have to hand mix everything to get it properly combined. The motor is not strong and sounds like it is seizing when ingredients are added and mixed. It makes a strange uneven sound like it's getting ready to conk out. This machine is not worth the price I paid and I recommend that you do not buy it.

Rated 5 out of 5 by mombakesfor5 Te best part about this product is that I can take it apart and store it convenientlly in by cupboard. It is also quiet and easy to clean up.
My previous mixer was also a sunbeam and it lasted 25 years. This mixer is a little bit larger , however it still comes apart and fits in the same spot in my cupboard as did my other one. Yeah! As I shopped around for a replacement, I found other mixers to be large in size. I have limited counter and cupboard space. This mixer fits perfectly. This mixer is quiet and the cost was great! I use my mixer for making breads, cookies, pies, cakes and pancakes or waffles. My mixer is an essential tool in my kitchen, especially around all holidays.
