Rated 4 out of 5 by from Works great - Cleanest teeth ever with some cons My dentist recommended I get one of these devices to better clean my teeth. I floss regularly but never seemed to be quite enough. I have several Caps and maybe that is why it never seemed quite as clean as I'd have liked. I looked at several models --cordless and corded. This model is corded. I bought it for the positive reviews. First, the con: 1) It's large- does take up space on your counter, 2) It's loud- (only matters if you are concerned about waking others), 3) I need to run the cord around the sink to reach the plug- something I don't prefer (water and electric don't mix well), 4) Takes a little getting used to / can be messy with water dripping out of your mouth. Now the PROS: 1) It gets my teeth cleaner then ever before, 2) Cleaner teeth = fresher breath, 3) It's convenient to use. In summary- even though it might seem the CONS outweigh the PROS, I do recommend this for the simple reason that is gets my teeth cleaner then ever before. And that's the most important thing for me.

Rated 4 out of 5 by from WP-100 Counter Top Model Overall, a good device that certainly makes the gums firmer and heathier. The standard Jet Tip works fine, just as it always has, probably for over 30 years by now. The other included tips are questionable, the toothbrush tip, which looks, on the carton, like it spins does not spin, and is pretty much useless, the sulcus tip for periodontal pockets is very hard to align with the gum line, is of very low power, and though using antigingivitis solutions are mentioned, none is specified. Is the classic mixture of baking soda and peroxide going to get thru this machine ? LOL. The manufacturer puts the burden on you to find out. Another serious problem: on earlier Water Pik machines an external storage holder was designed into the case providing an out of the way place for tips in use to be stored and to dry. The current machine gives you a closed case for the tip storage, very unsanitary. Were no dental or medical people involved in the design of the latest model ?

Rated 1 out of 5 by from piece of junk: fell apart after less than 3 years I bought this in about 2014 to replace a much older WaterPik that I had bought in 2003 (which I now regret replacing). This newer model is definitely substandard. The plastic is of MUCH poorer quality. Example: I had been using it less than normally, since I am often away. Even so, the handle that holds the flosser snapped off about a year ago (i.e. after about 2 years "light" use). Fine, I managed to rig up an elastic band to hold the flosser in place... But then last month, the hose snapped right off the bottom of the flosser. There is no way to repair this. Re. its performance, there too I was disappointed: the older model had much stronger pressure. I am intensely annoyed, not just at having to replace the entire unit after just three years, but also because of the waste I will be unwillingly causing! The last one, I was able to give away since it was still in good working order (after 11+ years!). This one is a piece of JUNK. I am going to try mailing it back to WaterPik in the hopes that they can at least recycle the parts. I will most definitely NOT be buying a WaterPik product again.

Rated 5 out of 5 by from So easy to use! I was having problems with bleeding gums and also wasn't flossing as well as I should. I got this because a friend said her mouth felt cleaner after using. I bought one and it was the best investment. I use a little mouthwash in the water and flush away all the food and debris between my teeth and gums. My gums are healthier and feel great. My dentist says to keep doing what I'm doing. This product makes my dental hygiene routine easier and quicker. I also love the compact design with all the attachments discretely secured. The wand is ergonomically designed and you can insert the attachment quickly and it locks in securely. The collar turns easily so you don't have to twist you wrist around. The spray pressure is adjustable with a turn of the dial for your comfort. I highly recommend this product.

Rated 5 out of 5 by from A great dental hygiene product. I have used a Waterpik daily for many years. I use it after brushing and flossing. It completes the job of keeping my teeth healthy. Waterpiks last a long time but when one needs to be replaced I immediately go buy a new one. I do not like to be without my Waterpik even for a day or two. I get excellent dental checkups. Everyone should use a Waterpik daily.

Rated 5 out of 5 by from Happy veteran customer!! I have used some form of a Waterpik for over ten years now. Wearing braces in my early 40's along with oral surgery, I depended on a Waterpik! Recommend this product to anyone, children and adults alike, I know for sure it is the best enhancement which will do a superior job in improving your oral health.

Rated 4 out of 5 by from Light weight and quieter I've been using a Waterpik for many years. It's easy to use and cleans between teeth more efficiently the dental floss. I add peroxide to the water tub 2-3 times a week to help control germs. This is not my first Waterpik and won't be my last.

Rated 5 out of 5 by from wonderful product I got this flosser about two months ago. I use it every day because it does a great job at cleaning between my teeth a along my gum lines. It leaves my mouth with a clean fresh feeling. But the best thing is the improved health of my gums.

Water Everywhere?

Does this shoot out water so hard that it gets more water on the mirror than in your mouth? Is the pressure speed variable and does it turn off when you take your finger off the button or do you have to shut it off manually?
Asked by: sulli
Question 1 - NO. Question 2 - The pressure is variable and you press the large dark blue button to stop the flow of water.
