Rated 3 out of 5 by from One thing to know. The oven works well and as expected. The one thing that we wish we would have known: It needs to be "primed". It would have been helpful if this was in the instructions. Our first meal was ruined because of strong fumes. After much internet research, apparently this is normal upon initial use. The fumes are very strong and you will want run it at high heat to break it in - and open windows!

Rated 5 out of 5 by from Easy Swap Out of Older Model GE I installed this unit about a week ago, replacing a similar, 15 year old GE that had a burned out lower element, and 'possibly' fritzed control board due to the high heat utilized in the 'Self-Cleaning' feature. The new model has both, Self-Cleaning and Steam-Cleaning, the later using a much lower, component friendly, heat cycle to dislodge the spatter of baked goods from the interior walls and pan. Overall first impressions: Easy installation, user friendly control panel, two bright interior lights, isolated lower element for easy cleanup and quiet fan. While researching for a replacement unit, I had stumbled upon an 'installer's' remark, admonishing against even using the 'Self-Cleaning' cycle, because the high heat generated, over 1000 degrees, during the several hour cleaning process, will, over time, wreck havoc upon the logic board, and fail. Here's looking to decades of happy baking.

Rated 3 out of 5 by from Annoying buzzer on open door; too long clean cycle Initially, we really liked this oven; however, two problems are annoying. First, the too-long programmed clean cycle damaged control module. It had to be replaced. We were advised to clean only for a two-hour period. Then, the oven door makes an annoying warning noise if left open, even if I'm just checking on a dish or turning a roast chicken, for instance. To avoid this, I have to remove the item, address the cooking, and then return the item to the oven. That is inconvenient.

Rated 5 out of 5 by from Looks nice in kitchen We just installed the oven so I haven't had a chance to use it..but it started up fine. I am reading over how to use it. It looks like it will be so much fun to use. It is a fancy upgrade to my 20 year old oven that was having issues. I can't wait to use the convection oven!

Rated 5 out of 5 by from Pleased with this oven's features and look. Thankful to have a new oven since the old one was from the 80's. Looked for awhile prior to going with this. So far happy with our choice.
