Rated 5 out of 5 by from GE The Quality People We've had the oven a week and cooked several different things. All the items cooked as they should have and in the correct time. The controls are super simple and easy to use. The oven takes a realistic amount of time to heat up to the set temperature. Our wall oven has passed the test of cooking a turkey for the family and we are extremely pleased. Our holiday cookie and cake baking is now underway and the results are fantastic. Easy to use, accurate and the "warm" feature has kept a number of meals ready to eat for late arrivals to the dinner table. Remodeled my kitchen. My contractor wanted the typical double oven. I resisted, I already have an emergency backup oven in the basement. I am so happy with this oven. It is compact, quick to heat, and easy to understand. Kids heard me say the other day, "..best part of the remodel...my oven!"

Rated 4 out of 5 by from Works well so far I was replacing an old oven and limited by the size, and bought this one because it had pretty good reviews. I found essentially the same pros and cons as the other consumer reviews. Pros - it's easy to use, I like the delay cook feature and the timed cooking feature. Items bake pretty evenly. Cons - it takes a long time to heat up, about 15 minutes to reach 350 deg. The cooling fan runs for a long time even after the oven is turned off (over 45 minutes usually) and blows warm air into the room while the fan is on. This heats up the area which is pretty undesirable in the summer. There's nothing that can be done to turn the fan off manually, or to get it to shut itself off any sooner. Someone said opening the oven door shuts the fan off sooner, but then it seems you'd have the full heat of the inside of the oven spilling into the kitchen. But I guess yes, the oven would cool quicker with the oven door open, so yes, the cooling fan may turn off sooner. I've only had the oven for two months (since July) and minimized using it since it is summer and I didn't want the heat in the house. No reliability issues yet, but then again, i haven't used it enough to address its reliability.

Rated 4 out of 5 by from It Gets the Job Done This oven replaced a GE oven I had used for 26 years (with not one repair!!) so I decided to stick with GE when we remodeled. First, I will share some irritating things. A new feature for me is the preheat function. It takes 14 minutes for the oven to heat up to 350. This seems like a really long time to me, but perhaps for the last 26 years I had been placing food in my oven before it had reached the correct temperature since it did not have a preheat feature. Another issue is that it seems to cook a little hotter, so I usually decrease the recommended setting by about 5 degrees. The final thing I dislike (and this may be a safety feature), is the fan that blows heat into the room after the oven is turned off. I don't know where the heat from my old oven went, but it did not blow back into the room. Some positive things now. It is very attractive, has a lot of features, and the self-cleaning odor is much more tolerable than that of my previous oven.

Rated 5 out of 5 by from Excellent replacement choice We needed to replace the stove from 1990 when it bit the dust. This is an excellent replacement for us, fit the space perfectly and no modification to the cabinet needed. Cooks great and my favorite thing is that the heating element on the bottom isn't exposed and my hubby can cook his pizza on the rack and wipe the oven clean once it cools. I love that!

Rated 5 out of 5 by from I love this oven! It has everything I wanted and needed. It was exactly as advertised. I love all the features the warming and proofing options, the option of steam cleaning or the regular cleaning. I have been using it for over a month and I love it more everyday. I would recommend this oven to anyone that wants a great wall oven.

Rated 5 out of 5 by from Excellent new features I purchased this GE wall oven to replace an older wall oven (1988). I love the new features, especially being able to clean the racks in the oven. I have not tried the "proof" feature yet, but I enjoy making home made yeast cinimon rolls and look forward to letting them rise in the oven using "proof".

Rated 5 out of 5 by from Style, ease of installation This oven is just what I was hoping for. Beautiful black glass front with slim design. It fit perfectly in the spot my 45 year old oven was in. I really like the large window and view of items cooking. Installed just in time for Holiday Baking. Instructions were helpful and installation went well.

Rated 5 out of 5 by from wall oven JK3000DFWW Installed this product two weeks after I bought it and was very satisfied with the performance. Temps are very accurate over my 35 year old G.E. range. G.E. still builds a good product.
