Rated 1 out of 5 by from Sensor Washing, worst thing ever !!!! I tried out this machine for 1 month, today it is being picked up and returned. Sensor washing, low water and slow agitation may be the new breakthrough, but nothing beats being able to adjust the water level you want to use, or how long you want to wash your items. I tried small loads where the sensor sensed no clothes inside and shut down twice on me. I tried 2 down jackets, bulky but light, even with the deep water button pushed, it wouldn't cover the jackets, not just a low water treatment, half way up, hardly wetting the complete jackets. Forget about ever giving a very soiled item a vigorous washing or soaking, not going to happen. To sum it up, try to stick with a machine without sensors, one with control on water levels, timers, soaking, and agitation control. You don't need to hear music when buttons are pushed.

Rated 5 out of 5 by from Works as promised We were looking for a washing machine that would wash king size bedding, use a reasonable amount of water, wash quickly if needed, manage to wash delicates without shredding and still remain reasonably priced. We have had this washing machine for 4 months now, we run 2-3 loads a day and have not had a single problem. They don't make them like they used to (in the old days) with tons of water and three wash settings. Now, with water regulations, and a better understanding of laundry, this washing machine strikes a nice balance of meeting regulations while still deep cleaning the clothes. While researching I read many comments (about other washers) that claimed that the only way to get clothes clean was to have lots and lots of water. Ongoing research, and this washing machine, are proving otherwise. Think about washing dishes in a sink - if you need to wash a dozen plates, you can wash them with a little water and a little soap. More water simply dilutes the soap. Lots of water and lots of soap will get clothes clean but a little soap and a little water (with a clean water rinse) will also get the clothes clean. When the clothes go in, it locks the lid and spins the clothes (without water) a few times to weigh the clothes to determine the size of the load. You can choose from three water settings - 1. the amount of water the machine feels it needs, 2. tap the fill button once and it dumps in another gallon or so or 3. hold the fill button and it will put in as much water as possible (it does not fill to the top but does put in quite a bit of water). Importantly you can add the forgotten item of clothing even after the cycle has started (when in the agitating cycle) - the lid does not lock during agitation (it does lock while spinning). When you add an item, the agitator stops, and you can add the item. When you close the lid, the machine adds a little water and starts up again. It has a variety of settings (delicates, normal, heavy duty) and also allows for a variety of washing cycles. It has different settings for regular clothes, one for jeans, one for towels, one for delicates, etc. This seems to change how aggressively or gently it agitates the clothing. It does not agitate the clothes as roughly as the old machines - it agitates back and forth a few times, lets the clothes rest for a few seconds to let the soap do what it does, then it agitates again, rests, agitates, rest, agitates, etc. It runs a warm rinse that gets all of the soap out and then spins the heck out of the clothes to wring every drop out of the clothing. Drying time is drastically reduced. Fast washing gets clothes washed in about 25 minutes. It does have settings that allows for soaking, second rinses, etc. It has a dial that (apparently) changes the cleaning approach based on whether the stain in tomato, grass or dirt. It has a quiet tune when it starts up and a quiet tune when it finishes. I would strongly recommend this washing machine. A large, stainless steel drum can easily takes the mattress pad, fitted sheet and top sheet from a king size bed. It does not move during the spin cycle (just make sure that clothes are fairly evenly distributed). It may twist the sheets up a bit but if I were in a drum spinning at 800 rpm I might be a little twisted too.....

Rated 5 out of 5 by from Good washer at a fair price! I've had this washer for about a week. I bought it to replace a Roper washer I had for about 2 years that didn't get all the soap out of my clothes. This washer does a much better job of cleaning the clothes and removing all the soap afterwards, so it won't stain the clothes. It has a large drum that easily fits a queen size comforter (it would probably fit a king too). I like that it has a "deep fill" option, it allows you to fill the water to max. capacity if you feel you need it; and on some cycles (like bulky items) it will automatically select deep fill so your stuff actually gets clean and you don't have to re-wash anything. It is a little noisy, but a lot of the HE washers are, because they work a little differently than the old school washers do. It is a good option for people like me, who want a good washer but don't want to buy a machine that's really expensive like a front load. So far I'm very satisfied with it

Rated 5 out of 5 by from Good buy After using the machine a week, we are enjoying using it. It took us a while to learn how to use the deep water function as holding the button for 3 seconds did not work for us, but if you wash on "bulky items", it does. If you do have bulky items check on the washer a couple times as mine 'walked" out from the wall about a foot when I washed a comforter! Yes, it is big enough for washing a comforter! The clothes are coming out nice and clean on all functions I have used.... and I have a teenage wrestler, so that says something. I used the extra rinse after accidentally putting in too much cleaner and that worked well. The clothes come out a little more wrinkly, but I am thinking this is the result of having a high RPM spin cycle and I do like how "almost dry" the clothes come out. Most of the wrinkles come out in the dryer anyway. I would recommend the washer... I hope it has a long longevity!

Rated 5 out of 5 by from Versatile and easy to use This washer replaced our 20 year old GE which had served us well. Needless to say, technology has changed the laundry world. Despite all the new features this washer is easy to use. The hardest thing was getting used to the new noises this machine makes versus the old one. As far as noise is concerned, this washer is quiet. We are very pleased two months into our ownership.

Rated 1 out of 5 by from Worst Machine ever I have had this washer one yr. now and it has been the most disappointing machine I have ever owned. If I could get my money back I would absolutely return this unit. Length of time to wash is too long, Lid lock is not a benefit when you have an unbalanced load It is not user friendly, now I'm stuck with it :(

Rated 1 out of 5 by from Piece of junk Already had to replace the washer once. Loud, noisy and once again the electronics are broken. Only had this a few months and wish I had never bought it.
