Rated 5 out of 5 by from A product built to last Just received my GE Profile wine refrigerator. Purchased this product after another refrigerator failed again. You buy an inexpensive wine refrigerator and you get what you pay for. A cheap refrigeration unit that fails and inability to find someone to repair it when it does with shelves that are difficult to pull out an push in. The GE Profile wine refrigerator is built much better. The shelves pull out (all the way too) and go in with ease. The top shelve will actually hold pinot noir and chardonay bottles. This refrigerator is supposed to hold 57 bottles and will if you include mini bottles. The real capacity is 50 bottles, which is fine with me. I purchased the unit because it is much better construction and came with a 5 year guarantee on the refrigeration unit. There is no temperature display but setting it for reds will keep that a 55 degrees. Since I have just received the unit I cannot comment on how well it cools but other reviews I read before purchase were pleased with it.

Rated 2 out of 5 by from Could Be Better Runs constantly and shelves are too close together so they get stuck on other bottles. Its not a digital thermostat, so you really don't know what temperature at which the wine is being stored. It's nice looking under the counter, but the functionality could be better. Also, repairs will cost you, I've had GE appliances for 2 years and have had issues each one.

Rated 3 out of 5 by from Nice look, Functionality Could be Improved. Bought this unit because I had one just like it in another home. Nice looking undercounter unit. Median price point.Functionality would be greatly approved with addition of dual thermostats for red and white wine.

Rated 5 out of 5 by from Outstanding Product This is the best wine frig on the market. Viking was a poor investment, but this GE model is tops.

Rated 4 out of 5 by from quality product with minor missing details I like the design style but I don't like that you can't accommodate larger bottles utilizing the current rack system, but that you have to remove shelves in order to accommodate. The plastic trim is easily scratched and a bit "cheesy" for the high price tag, I would have expected a better grade of materials. I don't like that you don't know the temperature and that I have to buy a digital portable thermometer. Like the wood trim shelving and how sturdy the shelves feel when pulling them out. I'm sure we will enjoy this product.

Rated 4 out of 5 by from Works great, but runs constantly. We bought this wine fridge a few months ago and it works really well. Our only issue is that it seems to run 12 hours a day. It was built into a cabinet and there's a good 4" clearance to the wall, but that's what it's designed for. It's not any noisier than any other refrigerator, but 12 hours a day of humming/buzzing gets on the nerves.
