Rated 3 out of 5 by from Cleans the dishes Have used this machine 5 or so times. So far, for the most part dishes come out clean. We are not using the heated dry cycle anymore as we have had a coffee cup and a glass come out with severe cracks. Also, sales person said that by stopping the cycle after a few minutes it would be the same as a rinse and hold cycle...it is not. The interior holds a lot of moisture and it is just a guessing game how long to run it. The machine seems quiet enough; we can hear the pump draining during the cycle, but the actual wash cycle is quiet. I like the hidden controls; however, it would be nice if the lights would all go out even if you can't see them..energy wise its a waste. If you're concerned about fingerprints on the stainless; don't buy this one. Style wise it's attractive. Capacity wise it's good for us. This is our cottage and overall, I'm somewhat satisfied except for the not having a rinse and hold cycle. I still haven't been able to figure out the steam cycle..more later?

Rated 2 out of 5 by from Poor layout and cleaning I am unhappy with the layout of the bottom rack because I cannot fit two rows of dinner plates. I have to put dinner plates on one side and smaller plates/bowls on the other. The silverware rack was also not designed well because there is just not enough space and the second basket which is meant for larger baking utensils is too large for silverware and they fall on top of each other. On top of design flaws I don't think it cleans well. There is typically food left in the silverware, probably because I try to fit too much in each load and bowls often have crusted food if I did not prewash. I would not recommend this product. I was more satisfied with our older and less expensive dishwasher.

Rated 2 out of 5 by from Just ok Bought this a few months ago and a component already broke. The technician said this is a common issue which was frustrating especially because we only had it about 6 weeks before it broke. Its a pretty noisy machine with a long wash cycle. Its an attractive looking dishwasher but I would probably not recommend based on the known issues.

Rated 2 out of 5 by from Unhappy customer I've had this installed for about 6 months. It looks nice, runs quietly, but the problem is that the soap compartment only opens 50% of the time. It'll run through the entire cycle without releasing the soap. Which means I often end up running it a second time. I'm calling GE now and hoping they will fix.

Rated 3 out of 5 by from Not the greatest Although I went for a "cheaper model" I am disappointed. I can't fit two rows of dinner plates in the bottom shelf. The stainless steel front is thin, makes me think of tinfoil.

Rated 4 out of 5 by from Very nice unit but I'd hoped it would have lasted I love the sleek look of my "hidden control" dishwasher. I also appreciate the ease of use and simple controls. I especially like how whisper quite it is. You almost have to check the light to make sure it s running. But after less than three months sad to say it stopped working.. The repair guy said it needs a new control panel so its "hand wash" for another couple weeks waiting for a new one. I don't know why it failed but suspect I should have installed a power surge protector as all these fancy electronics can be pretty delicate.

Rated 5 out of 5 by from Will buy it again :) We bought this dishwasher a few months ago...before we planned on moving. We are now in the middle of the moving process and leaving our new dishwasher behind. I am ashamed to admit that I am in love with this appliance and am sad to leave it! The top rack is roomy and the individual silverware holders make unloading super easy. It is also very quiet. The dishwasher in our new house needs replaced and we will be buying this exact model!

Rated 5 out of 5 by from Love the bottle holding feature. We had a brand new dishwasher but it held nothing , compared to this dishwasher especially bottle holding feature with a baby this was essential. I saw an ad for a great price on a GE which held baby bottles and was much quieter than the washer we currently had we bought it immediately and are thrilled.
