Rated 4 out of 5 by from Great oven, but one major flaw... I absolutely love this oven. The only flaw is that the heating coils are fixed to the bottom of each chamber, and are NOT on a hinge. This makes it impossible to wipe or clean the bottom of the oven. Every oven I've ever had previous to this one has had the coils on a hinge to lift for cleaning. This oven cooks very well, but get used to having an icky, ash mess on the bottom because it is impossible to wipe clean.

Rated 5 out of 5 by from Great double oven for 2 I have been using this product since August (~5 months). They are smaller ovens, but it is just the two of us. It gives me 2 ovens, but does not take up a lot of space. It also has great features, proofing, time delay start, and a internal probe. I have not used the probe feature yet. The top oven is smaller and I usual will do things that fit in a shallow casserole dish, cookie sheet, cake pan, cupcake tins.... because they are smaller, you will have to rethink how you put multiple dishes in the oven at one time and for larger items you have to take out the rack in the lower oven, which going from 2 big wall oven s to this double oven does take getting used to. The few things that would be a good redesign is that the controls are on the door of the top oven. It is sometimes hard to read as they are not backlit, also a lot of steam comes out of the ovens when you open the door and it hits that control panel every time. I have not had a problem, but all that moisture hitting that seems bad. All in all if you are down sizing and you still want 2 ovens, it has been a great product to buy.

Rated 5 out of 5 by from I love this product! Double ovens without the space I love this product! It gave us double ovens in our kitchen while still allowing us to have a spot on the wall for our microwave. The capacity of the ovens works great and I love having the smaller size because they heat up faster than a standard single oven. Also they aren't too small - the bottom oven is big enough for the large items and, with the convection on the bottom overn, it works well to cook multiple things at the same time / temperature. The appearance is very nice. The installation was a little tricky. We thought we would be able to pop it right into our existing hole (which has a GE Profile single wall oven) but the size was just slightly different and the position of the electrical box made it harder for our install. I would recommend purchasing installation on this. However I would definitely recommend this product. We have had it installed for over 6 months and it works great! Rated 4 out of 5 by from Great for Those who LOVE Baking! I found this single sized double oven appliance by accident. I loved the concept - two ovens in the space of one. Novel idea! Face it , only 4 - 5 times per year do I truly NEED a large size oven. Most of the time I am baking breads, casseroles, cookies, roasting veggies, etc. With this appliance, I only heat up half of the oven space. We have a separate 30 in oven mounted under our cooktop - so thanksgiving was very time efficient: turkey in the 30 in oven, while I proofed rolls and baked dressing and a pie all at the same time. The only con: I am still figuring out the placement for different types of baking... one oven is slightly larger than the other. Rack placement means racks slice the bottom oven into thirds; top oven in half. This will take some practice or experimenting to fine tune. So far, nothing has burned - everything has cooked evenly.

Rated 4 out of 5 by from Great use of 2 ovens in 1 opening PROS: - Ideal for 1-6 family members for moderate to high amounts of cooking, requiring various oven functions, especially when space doesn't allow for 2 standard-size wall ovens. - Smaller (upper) oven is ideal for casseroles and re-heating food. - Larger (lower) oven comfortably accommodates a 13 lb. turkey. - More energy efficient than standard single or double-oven, because it's oven cavities are smaller, requiring less heat. - I've had mine for 5 years, and continues to work accurately CONS: - Difficult to read and confusing control panel. Be sure to have adequate overhead lighting to see controls. Pay close attention when operating controls, so as to not mistakenly operate some of the functions on the upper oven, if you meant to operate the lower oven... a common issue with my household. - Racks are a bit flimsy to slide, and hold heavier items like a 4-qt. cast-iron cocotte w/ lid (dutch oven). Racks tend to bend down and come in contact with the bottom heating element. - Height of larger (lower) oven cannot accommodate a stand-up chicken/hen for vertical roasting. Alternative would be to use this cooking method on an outdoor grill. - Self-cleaning function emits a strong gas, to the point our eyes and throats start burning, and therefore have to open doors and windows. Recommend self-clean ovens at different times. SUMMARY: If you're looking for efficient use of kitchen space, I highly recommend this oven. I wish we could order higher grade racks, that were more durable and slide easier.

Rated 5 out of 5 by from Love this Oven! My wall oven cut-out only allowed space for a single oven. This GE 'double in a single' is a dream come true - I finally have a double-oven again! Even if you don't "need" or want a double oven, seriously consider this model. First test was a convection-roasted chicken in the 'big' oven using the probe. Perfection. Next was a roast (same method) and roasted companion veggies, followed by rolls in the upper oven. Again, perfection. Haven't tried multi-level convection baking, slow-cooking or proofing yet, but will soon. No reason to expect anything but perfection. The 'little' oven definitely gets the most use since we're usually cooking casseroles/meals for only 2-3 people. Mine preheats in only 7 minutes! Door handles stay cool, and cooking on high temps doesn't heat up my kitchen. Little things I love ... a beep when preheated temp is reached, timer gives a heads-up beep 1 minute before time's up, and oven lights that allow you to really see inside with the door closed. Rated 4 out of 5 by from Great use of space I have always wanted two ovens and for me this unit works in the space I have. The larger oven can cook a 15 lb turkey thanks to the convection feature and being able to put pan on lowest shelf. My oven was not calibrated when installed and I found that I needed to add approx. 5 more minutes before using when preheating. Top oven is super useful for most everything and I use it all the time rather than heating up the bigger oven. It does have two racks but when rack on lowest level, it is a bit difficult to pull out so be sure to open door all the way and use the handles.

Rated 5 out of 5 by from LOVE this wonderful appliance. This takes the place of drop-in stove. Gives me extra space by having two ovens, I have a cooktop now, and I don't have to bend down to the floor to take out what I've baked.
