Rated 4 out of 5 by from Overall Great Stove I bought this stove in mid-September. We definitely cook at home a lot, so it's gotten a decent amount of use. Pros: three racks in the oven, a big drawer underneath, easy to use controls. Love the griddle in the middle! I believe the quality of GE Profile to be very good, so I'm hoping this stove lasts for a long time. Cons: The difference between the very hot burners and the not-so-hot burners is great. You have to learn to turn the heat down on the very hot burners unless you are just boiling water. The grates on each side are all one piece and held down by the griddle. I suppose it makes it more stable, but this stove is not easy to clean for anyone who has strength issues in their hands/wrists. You have to press a little hard to get the buttons on the back to register that you want to start the oven, turn off the timer, etc. None of the cons were a deal-breaker for me and we are very happy with the stove now that we've learned how to use it.

Rated 4 out of 5 by from Love it - but After cooking on an electric cook top for the past year, cooking is fun again thanks to this range. The burners are powerful enough to bring a large pot of water to boiling very quickly and adjustable to a setting low enough to simmer without burning. I haven't used the self-clean feature, so cannot comment on that. I've cooked on many types/brands of ranges, cook tops and ovens, so some of the things are personal preferences but it's easy to adapt to the GE and it really does cook extremely well. There are 4 things I don't like. 1) the touch pad - have to press very hard and/or many times for the selection to "take". 2) the oven rack placement - the bottom rack practically sits directly on bottom of the oven. 3) the requirement to press start after making type of baking and setting the temperature. Since you have to make 2 selections before the oven operates, pressing start is unnecessary. I really do mean it when enter the first two. I'm used to it now, but my first several oven experiences weren't good. I was ready to put the food in and was surprised with a cold oven. Lastly, 4) I prefer to set my own convection bake temperature. Most recipes already have the Convection temp plus convection has been around long enough for practiced cooks to make the conversion all by themselves. Less practiced cooks can learn it quickly.

Rated 4 out of 5 by from Nice looking gas range! I bought the appliance in September for a kitchen remodel. I love the looks of the gas range and its overall performance. The buttons are very straight forward and easy to use. I love how it chimes when the oven is preheated, or the timer is done. The only thing, is the steam clean. I have used it once when I got something in the bottom of the oven, it did not work very well. I ended up having to do the self clean, which smelled strongly of gas and emitted a little smoke in the room. Not sure if that is normal, or if that was just the first time using it. Other than that, I love it. The convection is all I use, and is great at cooking evenly and quickly. I hope that the range continues to preform well.

Rated 5 out of 5 by from terrific range we had this range installed 2 weeks ago. we are very pleased with it. we are long time g.e. buyers. this range offered all the bells and whistles we were looking for. have never had a convection oven but we are looking forward to cooking with it. the grill pan is great. i did some salmon on it and it was like cooking in a well seasoned cast iron skillet. clean up was super easy, just a little vinegar water in a spray bottle and a wipe down with a soft cloth. we love the "chef connect". it syncs our new profile microwave to the range. Love the fact that when you turn on any burner the microwave stove light comes on and so does the fan. So far we are just using vinegar water in a spray bottle and a micro fiber cloth for clean up. This is working very well. My only suggestion would be to include a Operators Manual with the range. There is a lot of info with a new range. No problem though. I emailed G.E. and they had one in the mail the next day. Great stove. Looks and cooks far beyond the price we paid.

Rated 4 out of 5 by from Design and performance very good! Overall, we like the design, two sizes of burners, and oven performance. But a few negatives: the grates on top of the burners are too heavy, and it's awkward to clean because of having to lift the center grill before cleaning anything. Also, it's odd to have the lighting at the beginning when turning the knob; prefer it when turned all the way to right. Would prefer receiving a paper booklet rather than having to go online and print one. Also, specks of the black is coming off the grates when a pot is slid across it--plan to speak to dealer about that issue.

Rated 4 out of 5 by from Nice and attractive Bought this range two months ago and within the the first two weeks my wife tried to remove the outside grate on top without removing the center one first (which sits on both of the side grates) and part of the coating chipped off. Still looking at getting this fixed or corrected. Also the light bulb in the range burned out. Just replaced it today. Not expensive but it has a lens over it so I started to use a screw driver but the entire unit was coming out. All I had to do is turn the lens. Oh well.

Rated 4 out of 5 by from Good Oven We bought this oven last month. Overall we're pleased with unit and it fits well within our kitchen. It replaced a 20 year old oven and we're still getting used to the speed in which things cook compared to our last oven (referring to the stove top). Overall we're pleased; one issue is the control panel - buttons are not very responsive and we think a bit more could have been done to make the control panel better to use. Also the timer does not do seconds (only minutes and hours).

Rated 3 out of 5 by from Good for the Money We really wanted a commercial-type, Dual-Fuel slide-in, but couldn't justify the additional cost. The features are generally good as is fit and finish, but the panel and supporting heat shield is just plain ugly. It's nice to have 4-5 burners in addition to an oven. Providing a grid for the central, oval burner would be a welcome enhancement. Burner heat (BTU) is good.
