Rated 5 out of 5 by from Beautiful Range Range is great, slate finish is virtually finger proof, the only problem I have it sits high, my opening is exactly 30" wide, the range is 30", but the top is 31" because there's a overhang, will have to have my tile redesigned to lower the range.

Rated 5 out of 5 by from Great stove We have owned this for several months and feel it is a great stove. The oven does a really good job of baking evenly.

Rated 3 out of 5 by from So far it's okay I got this installed the week before Thanksgiving and have used it just about every day since. The turkey came out perfect! I am happy with the surface burners, though I have yet to use the large center burner yet. Th only thing not 100 percent for me yet is convect bake. When using racks 1 and 3 as recommended to bake cookies, rack 3 cookies bake fine, but rack 1 cookies are underbaked. I tried adjusting temp up from 350 to 375, did not work. Next will try downsizing my baking sheets from 13X16 to the smaller 12X13 to see if that does the trick. I bake a lot of cookies so I need to resolve this!

Rated 4 out of 5 by from Exactly what I wanted I have had this installed for two days and it is exactly what I wanted and anticipated I would like. I will update as time goes on. One complaint and only one complaint. The rear corner trim brackets do not fit and the instructions for attaching them seem easy but the pieces just won't go on square. I can get them on but they are off kilter because it looks like there is extra metal on the back of the range or the trim pieces themselves are shaped wrong. I may try attaching them again if I feel what I can see of the cut counter top is bugging me too much, but for now, I love this range.

Rated 4 out of 5 by from Great cooking area. This stove has great space with no back on it. We are still getting used to the convection oven. The turbo burner does not seem to boil water any quicker than the big burners, not real impressive like we thought it would be. We have had some issues with the burners not lighting for some reason, but eventually they started working again. The griddle in the middle is an excellent option.

Rated 3 out of 5 by from I would like be to use it to see how well it works The second time I went to use the top oven, the igniter quit working. It's been 2 months, they've sent 4 parts - all broken upon receipt- and I still don't have an oven that works fully. Now the parts are on back order. For the price of the stove I would hope for more.. I've always been a loyal GE customer but I'll rethink that now

Rated 5 out of 5 by from Nice Design I had a similar style in my old house and liked it so much I had to get one in my new house. I went with the slate this time and like how it doesn;t show the finger prints of my kids. I really like the center burner and skillet. I use it all the time to make pancakes, steaks, etc.

manual pilot liting?

Can you lite the pilot on top -- the burners -- when the electricity goes out?
Asked by: tom27p
Hello tom27p - this is Nancy at GE Appliances and I am happy to help you. In case of a power failure, you can light the surface burners on your range with a match. You would hold a lit match to the burner ports, then slowly turn the control knob to the LITE position. Use extreme caution when lighting burners this way. Surface burners in use when an electrical power failure occurs will continue to operate normally. You cannot light the oven manually. I hope this helps! Thanks for checking with us!
