Rated 4 out of 5 by Amazing control I had done extensive research anticipating we were going to need to replace our electric range when it failed, two days after Christmas. With a house full of guests arriving momentarily, for a week in the mountains, and 2 refrigerators full of food, I lamented the timing, I knew the GE Profile series induction range was the best but the cost at that moment felt prohibitive and we needed a range delivered immediately. My husband insisted there would be no compromise and the GE Profile Series induction range was delivered the next day. But for a couple of instances when I needed to flip the curcuit breaker on & off to reset the electronics because of a power surge it has exceeded my very high expectations. The response and minutiae temperature control of the stove revivals the finest gas tops and the oven bakes, broils and roasts to perfection both traditionally and using convection. Plus 3 or more hours of pizza making or baking does not result in the kitchen being an oven! July 29, 2016
Rated 5 out of 5 by So far so good This is stove #3 in 14 months so cautious about feedback but so far so good , still in honeymoon phase right now so need to wait and see September 21, 2016
Rated 1 out of 5 by Major concerns! I purchased this wonderful? range for my new kitchen remodel. I used it once and during that use I heard a 'pop' and all parts of the appliance stopped working, stove top and oven. I followed manual instructions and turned off the circuit for the time suggested. When I reset the circuit, I was able to use the oven once and no burner. I have not been able to use it since. I have contacted support and now waiting to get the new part which we think 'may' be the problem. It will be installed next week so my 'real' review will come after that time. I must say that I am very disappointed. I am anxious to use my new induction range. August 19, 2016
Rated 5 out of 5 by Happy I finally got induction! I have only had this range a few weeks, but I shopped and waited a long time. I live in a house that does not have gas. My smooth top elelctric range was driving me crazy and I was burning food. I was not able to cook on an induction cooktop before I made the plunge. I relied on the good reviews about induction and am very happy. Should have done it sooner. Love the look of the side in. Like that the GE slid in range will fit into the space that previously held a free standing range. I have 2 small disappointments. My counter tops are not 36" tall, so I have about a 1/4" gap between the counter and the top edge of the range. Second thing I don't understand. I have a 30" opening between my cabinets but the installers could not get the anti-tip bracket installed in this 30" opening, said they needed another 1/4" to make it work. Since 30" is standard, I don't get why this was an issue.. June 17, 2016
Rated 4 out of 5 by GE Induction slide-in range Works great. Like the power boil, water comes to full boil within a few minutes. Oven bakes much better and faster than our old stove. Sliding oven rack makes it safe and easy to put and take food into and out of oven. Would have given it 5 stars except warmer drawer seems a bit flimsy. August 15, 2016

Rated 1 out of 5 by THE GOOD NEWS AND THE BAD NEWS The Good News and the Bad News Two days ago, my wife and I had the GE PHS920SF2SS induction electric slide in range installed in our home. It's beautiful! We have not had a range in over a month. The reason for the long wait, we couldn't decide between a competing manufacturer's electric induction slide in range and the GE electric induction slide in range. We picked the GE based on the availability of GE's authorized repair service in our area and GE's reputation for reliability. The competing manufacturer's authorized repair company would have to travel over 100 miles one way from Columbia, SC to Charleston, SC for repairs. GE has local authorized repair technicians in Charleston. However, we didn't think we would need GE's repair service so soon. We boiled several pots of water just to test the power boil burner. It worked great. Then, we decided to bake some biscuits. That's when we realized the "door lock" light for the oven was on and would not shut off whether the oven door was open or closed. The door lock light code prevents the operation of the oven even though the oven door is not really locked. We read the manual back to front for troubling shooting tips and googled for more troubleshooting help. We tried everything. Nothing worked. So now, we have a GE repair technician coming to our home only 3 days after the range was installed. The good news: we don't have to wait 2 weeks for a competitor's authorized repair technician. The bad news: The GE PHS920SF2SS went down only 4 hours after installation. Update: It's been 4 days since my review above. GE repair technicians have twice attempted to repair our new range. The oven continues to malfunction. No biscuits yet! August 8, 2016
