This is the second one I've purchased that no longer works. Bad digital control system. No info on where the unit could be repaired. Have a Rowenta grill from Europe with exchangeable plates and it still works fine after 25 years.

Rated 3 out of 5 by Darian STOPPED WORKING
I have had the Evolve for a little over a year. I bought it as replacement for another model that stopped working after several year. Now the Evolve will not work. When I press the on/off button nothing happens there continues to be red dashes on the display where once a temperature would appear.

Rated 3 out of 5 by gacrow Loved it at first
Got it as a Christmas gift, and fell in love. The first disappointment was that the ceramic-coated plates were not as non-stick as other ceramic cookware we have. And it seemed to get steadily worse, even though we treated the plates with kid gloves. We bought the deep-dish attachment and truly love it!! Non-stick (but not ceramic) and perfect for casseroles, omelets, and baked eggs.
Then out of the blue about a month ago, the on-off switch just quit. Nothing happens when you push the button. I'm curious about the 3-year warranty. Haven't tried to get a replacement yet.

Rated 1 out of 5 by Glen Died after 3 months
Bought it in February, and it died in May. Things stick to the "non-stick" ceramic and must be rigorously cleaned to get it off. The dishwasher alone is NOT enough to clean it. I bought extra plates for making eggs, but this thing burns the eggs badly even on the lowest temperature setting.
Technically it was under warranty, where the procedure is that you have to cut off the power cord, and mail it to them with a check to pay for them to send you a replacement for their broken piece of garbage. Unfortunately, my wife threw it in the trash before I cut off the power cord so now I'm just out the money I wasted on this thing. Avoid it. Buy something else.

This grill works well with meats and I'm happy with those results but today I decided to try out the muffin pan. That doesn't work as well.
It really takes quite a long time to bake these muffins. If you don't have a regular oven (like say on a camping trip in a trailer) this will do in a pinch but for regular use forget it. Use your oven. It'll save time (and probably electricity since you can do 12 at one time!)

Rated 3 out of 5 by John Navarro Great Product....but
My wife and I use this a minimum twice a week. The grill itself works great and couldn't be happier. Unfortunately the plates do not last. We've had the grill less than 10 months and the plates already need to be replaced. The non stick ceramic coating is not as durable and effective as advertised.
