Rated 4 out of 5 by Great space saver I purchased this for my new laundry room. Great space saver!! March 2, 2016
Rated 4 out of 5 by Looks Great but Haven't Installed It Yet This looks fine, with no scratches or problems with the white surface like some people have had. However, we haven't installed it yet, so I am not sure yet how it will work out. December 9, 2015

Answer:
Hi jpdg12. The depth from the interior back of the cabinet to the back of the frame lip is 5.5 inches. That would be the maximum width an iron could be to fit well (because the board also folds up and takes up space in the middle of the cabinet). The upper shelf where an iron would sit is 4.375 inches deep. Hope this helps!
