Rated 5 out of 5 by from I love this Iron This iron performs really well. I tried it on steam and iron settings with different fabrics. It's very ergonomic, although found it a little heavy, hence 4 stars for ease of use. It has a very polished surface and it glides really good. The hose of it is pointy to get into all the nooks of clothes, like ironing shirts. I like that it has a long cord. It's very sturdy when standing upright. Has many holes for steaming, so it covers more surface when you steam clothes. Part where you pour water is very easy to use. Just open the little lid and pour water. You will see level of it on the inside. All the dials are smooth and easy to use as well. I still have an old iron that i use, this is a definite upgrade to old one. I would definitely buy this one and recommend it.

Rated 4 out of 5 by from Ironically like a Pro!! This iron is great...the wrinkles on my garment came out so smooth you would have thought it was dry cleaned. I love the steamer setting, makes me feel like a pro!! All and all I'm recommending to buy....

Rated 5 out of 5 by from Best Iron I ever had. I am a man who irons his own shirts because I'm am very picky. I could not believe how this iron performs. I have some expensive cotton shirts (Not Staffords) that I have never been able to get to look smooth. On the first try these shirts looked as good as they did right out of the package when new. Creases in pants are sharp with no effort even on jeans (Yes, I iron my Levis.). All those holes in the plate make a really great difference from other irons I have had. It glides as smooth as silk. The narrow point can go between those 2 buttons on the sleeves. It puts out a great quantity of steam very quickly. I can see how well it would work as a vertical steamer to get wrinkles out. I don't care a lot for the cover on the water filling hole. It is difficult to open and close. Not the greatest design. It is very easy to fill because of the way the hole is located on the iron. I have only had it a short time so I cannot give a high rating on durability at this time. The only thing that does seem too fragile is the water filling cover. Right now I am not sorry for spending the money on this unit.

Rated 5 out of 5 by from Worth Every Penny The price is daunting considering the cost of other irons. That said it is worth every penny. I have been able to iron shirts that would never look good when done before with any other iron. It takes creases out of clothing that other irons couldn't. I do think the steam control is too flimsy and not of the quality of the rest of the iron. It puts out a very large volume of steam in a short warm-up time. Great iron.

Rated 5 out of 5 by from Worth the weight! The iron is heavier than my old one. But it didn't affect the ironing and may be one of the reasons that the iron gets tougher wrinkles out faster. Overall, I am very pleased. Pro - LOVE the point design. It gets into spaces much better than any of my previous irons. Into shoulder points, and other flex points in clothes. Also into places where the fabric is gathered or pleated, like the neck of a women's casual shirt or the back pleat on a man dress shirt. Pro - Removes wrinkles faster. Where I would normally steam blast and maybe even spray an area to get a deeper wrinkle out, I was also taking several passes with the iron the really get the wrinkle out. This iron still needs the moisture, but I made fewer passes and was more satisfied with the final smoothness. This made ironing a tablecloth less of a chore, and it turned out better. Con - Weight. It is 40% heavier than my old iron. But I didn't notice it when ironing, only when I took it down/ put it away in the closet. I think the weight may be a component of the better results, so I am conflicted about reporting it as a Con.

Rated 4 out of 5 by from rowenta rowenta has excellent clothiung care products. this iron seems to spit a lot of white (dust) particles untill I used self clean button. I like the dolphin nose that tracks around buttonholes. why is everyone afraid to get a good iron?

Rated 5 out of 5 by from most impressive iron I have ever used I have used Rowenta irons for the last 11 years. My first Rowenta just started giving me a little trouble after a lot of use for 11 years. My husband ordered this new Rowenta Pro Master for me. I have been using it now for 2 weeks and it is by far the very best iron I have ever used. I am a 64 year old Grandmother and I have done lots of ironing every week. I also have gotten my Daughters to use Rownta irons too. You can get by on a less expensive iron, but you will never experience the pleasure in ironing untill you try this Rowenta Pro Master iron.

Rated 5 out of 5 by from GREAT IRON Got this iron to replace my other Rowenta 'Advancer Model'. It fell from the back of the door holder to the floor and broke in many pieces. I researched all the Rowentas, and this one always came out on top. I have used the ROWENTA PRO MASTER for a couple of months now, and I really like it. It makes plenty of steam and is a lot lighter than my last one and actually feels better in my hand. There is a snapping cap where the water goes, and at first I had a hard time opening and closing it until I figured out that if you pull it towards you while you are trying to close it, it works easily. The one thing I might change on this iron would be a sliding cap instead. The water level is a little hard to see but not bad. I just put my glasses on! Rowentas are good irons and really hold up. I always use the cleaning button to clean it after I am finished, and even though it says you can use tap water, I never have. I have always used purified water in my Rowentas for over 15 years because our water is so hard and has a lot of lime. Thus, I have never had any problems with the iron spitting or depositing any particles. I am really happy with this iron.
