This is my second Rowenta iron. Well made in Germany. I had a coupon $10 off in addition to being on sale + 20% off on top. Final price was well worth the wait. In addition this iron is surprisingly light. Steams well. Will follow recommendation to use distilled water in it due to some calcium deposits left on bottom after first use. Excellent water depository much improved. Front design glides well between buttons. Metal plate was easy to clean. Overall a great iron a good investment. No buyers remorse.

This is my 5th Rowenta Iron. They are the best irons on the market. They make ironing easy but look professional.

This was the first time I've ever owned a Rowenta iron and I don't know what took me so long! I got it on sale plus had coupons so it was a steal! This iron has exceeding all of my expectations! It has a large base plate which cuts my ironing time in half...and I have to iron A LOT! It is professional quality but isn't too heavy to use. Has a great anti-calcium feature along with a self-cleaning button to keep the iron from collecting calcium deposits and dirtying your clothes. I use only bottled distilled water in my iron in order to extend the life of my investment. I honestly cannot say enough good things about this iron! I am a Rowenta customer for life now!!

Rated 5 out of 5 by Adamsleretired Best Iron I ever had.
I am a man who irons his own shirts because I'm am very picky. I could not believe how this iron performs. I have some expensive cotton shirts (Not Staffords) that I have never been able to get to look smooth. On the first try these shirts looked as good as they did right out of the package when new. Creases in pants are sharp with no effort even on jeans (Yes, I iron my Levis.). All those holes in the plate make a really great difference from other irons I have had. It glides as smooth as silk. The narrow point can go between those 2 buttons on the sleeves. It puts out a great quantity of steam very quickly. I can see how well it would work as a vertical steamer to get wrinkles out. I don't care a lot for the cover on the water filling hole. It is difficult to open and close. Not the greatest design. It is very easy to fill because of the way the hole is located on the iron. I have only had it a short time so I cannot give a high rating on durability at this time. The only thing that does seem too fragile is the water filling cover. Right now I am not sorry for spending the money on this unit.

Rated 2 out of 5 by Patty This product came defective
The iron was great in regards to taking the wrinkles out really fast, but the problem was that its suppose to be ANTI DRIP and it dripped the entire time and the water would come out as I ironed leaving my clothes wet. I have returned it and a new one will be getting sent. Maybe that one was just defective. I will do a survey again once I get the new one I hope. Thank You.

Have just used my new iron a few times but love it so far. Only problem I have seen was that the outside packaging was pretty much destroyed when I received it. This was not the fault of Penney's or the manufacturer. Just very poor handling by UPS. The iron did not appear to be damaged though so I am keeping it.

This is a replacement for the same model (that I broke) because I liked the features so much. The weight is good - on the heavy side - so I don't have to push down to iron. It has automatic shut off in case I'm interrupted and forget to go back to ironing. It steams horizontal or vertical and also has a well shaped sole plate for small spaces. The only reason I didn't rate it a 5 is that the water reservoir is too dark so it is difficult to see the water reach the fill line.

Got this iron to replace my other Rowenta 'Advancer Model'. It fell from the back of the door holder to the floor and broke in many pieces. I researched all the Rowentas, and this one always came out on top. I have used the ROWENTA PRO MASTER for a couple of months now, and I really like it. It makes plenty of steam and is a lot lighter than my last one and actually feels better in my hand. There is a snapping cap where the water goes, and at first I had a hard time opening and closing it until I figured out that if you pull it towards you while you are trying to close it, it works easily. The one thing I might change on this iron would be a sliding cap instead. The water level is a little hard to see but not bad. I just put my glasses on! Rowentas are good irons and really hold up. I always use the cleaning button to clean it after I am finished, and even though it says you can use tap water, I never have. I have always used purified water in my Rowentas for over 15 years because our water is so hard and has a lot of lime. Thus, I have never had any problems with the iron spitting or depositing any particles. I am really happy with this iron.
