My son loves his Cooks Power Pro blender. He uses it almost every day. Unfortunately he needs a new blade for it and wondered if there is a way to purchase replacements?

I bought this blender as a gift for my son - if I could return it I would, but with the 60 day window past when it was first used, I cannot. The blender was purchased to make smoothies. It was too weak to chop any nuts, and got hung up on cold smoothies with crushed ice and frozen fruit puree. The instructions say it cannot crush ice, so we did not even try it. When the blend got cold and thicker it struggled and was not able to mix it - It had insufficient power. I had to transfer the smoothies to finish mixing with my handheld blender- it was more powerful. Next, with a simple soft fruit smoothie, liquid was leaking out at the bottom, even with top complete screwed in. It was not in crooked, and could not be hand tightened anymore than it was. We tried different tops, and swapped base units- the same problem. So either we are stuck with a defective unit, or they are all like that. The large amount of containers do not make up for the weak motor and poor fit of the containers on the base. The blender is useless for making smoothies of any type.

I was in the market for one of those blenders in the infomercials that turn fruits and veggies into smoothies but wasn't sure if I'd use it enough. Then I saw this on the JCP site...it looked similar and had similar specs. For all I know, it is probably a rebadge. I saw it in person and noticed the build quality and materials seemed decent. The price was good so I took a chance. After a week of use, so far so good. I've never used the other brand's blender so I can't make a comparison but I've thrown at it a variety of fruits, veggies and seeds and it blends completely smooth just like their infomercials. It came with two each of the 12oz and 24oz tumblers and a to-go lid which was very nice. One blade grinds and chops while the other 4-sided blade is what you'll use to make the smoothies. Overall I'm happy with this purchase and see no need to spend more on anything else.

First let start by saying that if anyone bought this and it didnt work it was simply defective..it happens...just buy another one! You will want to make sure your lid is screwed tightly otherwise it will leak like anything else. Second, wash this thing immediately after. Do not submerge the blender blade in water for any period of time as water will get beneath your blade and cause rusting inside that will leak into the motor. Third do not blend for more than a minute. YOU WILL blow the motor. It will run hot alike another other motor. At this speed They are not intended for one time prolonged use. Fourth use the perforated blade for everything. The other one is way too bland for seeds. Fifth make sure that when you place it on the motor you cup is secure and turned as far clockwise as I possible until the motor starts. It will not stop until you turn it back counter clockwise. This is not a defect!! It is suppose to be this way!. Lastly do everthing I said and i can guarantee it will measure up to what you were looking for. AND If the food gets stuck in the blender and fails to blend, remove it shake anabolic it back on. Simple! Add water to get things moving in there.

One of my cups broke. It fell off of a table that was maybe three feet high and it cracked. My parents have a tumbler that is very similar and the had it for years. It has been dropped several times and has broke. I'm very disappointed in this product. I will never buy anything from Cooks again or recommend their products to anyone.

Rated 5 out of 5 by Nahzeejune This product makes it easier to make healthy, delicious smoothies
I have been looking a long time for a product that could handle making healthy, delicious smoothies the way that I not only wanted but also needed. Most of the ones that I looked at didn't have the power needed to do the things that I needed them to do. The others that I considered were too expensive but could more than handle the job that I had in mind! Cooks fits in with the more elite but the price very reasonable and affordable. Especially when it is purchased on sale!!
I enjoy shopping online at Penney's because I can shop at my leisure and take my time learning, reading and looking for quality products that I need or want. And that is what I was doing when I discovered the Cooks Power Pro Blender. Not only does it have the power to completely mix vegetables, fruits, etc. into ultra healthy smoothies but they taste perfectly, deliciously blended.
I got exactly what I was looking for!! So not only did I buy one for myself but I also bought one for my son and daughter to share while they are away at college. They love theirs also. Not only are they using their new Cooks Pro Blender and eating healthy but their roommate has taken up blending and eating healthier also. Thanks JC Penneys, you always have what I need!

I bought this for my son and sister as a gift thinking it was just as good as the nutribullet and for 6-7 months we used it to make smoothies with frozen fruit and yogurt. All of a sudden the blade bearings started making a horrendous screeching sound and the seals around the shaft started to leak. The unit is poorly made and not built to last.

I used it only for smoothies, once or twice a week at most. It did not get heavy use. All of a sudden my smoothies started becoming off-colored and I noticed some black liquid getting into them from the blender bottom. Then the blade locked up and does not rotate at all. Disappointing.
