Rated 5 out of 5 by carrobin Looks like a keeper
With my old coffeemaker looking the worse for wear and leaking when I poured a cup, I searched for one that seemed more substantial and still looked good and met my budget. The Mr. Coffee is just the right size for my small kitchen and daily coffee intake. I've had it three weeks now and it's doing fine.

Rated 1 out of 5 by ourcatrusti Still making this model but no replacement carafe
A good little coffee maker, with a very fragile carafe. Don't break it, because Mr. Coffee says no replacement carafe is available. How is that possible? Why would you keep making a product but not have in stock the one item that will most likely need replacement??? A very odd way to run a company. When mine breaks (and I know it will) you can bet I will not buy another Mr. Coffee machine.

Rated 5 out of 5 by joan2ndjoan makes a good cup of coffee
This machine makes a good cup of coffee, up to 4 cups, actually. I bought this several months ago, replacing one of another brand because I didn't think that other brand's brewer was making good coffee. While I wish the brewer was a little more compact, taking up less room on my counter, it isn't hugely big, I just don't have much counter space. It has an old-fashioned look. Adding water is easy. The coffee doesn't drip onto my counter when I pour it out, unlike my previous brewer. The first time I used it I forgot to turn it off but after several hours of heat on the pot didn't break. I'm surmising that this brewer heats the water slightly hotter than my previous one which is what makes the brewed coffee better.

I MUST have my coffee in the morning to wake up. While I fill and brew my little Mr.Coffee, I make one cup from my Keurig so I have the first cup instantly and by the time I've finished that, I have two or three more fresh cups from the little 4 cup pot. This cuts down on the expensive K cups and tastes just as good. I've cut back on the waste and the K cups. Also, it has a permanent filter and takes up very little counter space.

Rated 3 out of 5 by seriously Works well, good value, carafe needs work
Mostly happy, definitely a great value for the price, but the carafe handle design is very poor. I had the old model 4-cup, and the carafe had a wider mouth. This one is very narrow and hard to clean, and has a pointy bit that my fingers always seems to get caught on. Other than that, I'm pretty happy with the coffeemaker.

I love this coffee maker. It's the second one I've owned in 10 years. That's how long the first one lasted!.

Seriously... I just want a cup of coffee... add water, put the coffee in, turn it on, wait a few minutes... coffee... so song and dance, not alarms, not multiflavored packets to toss out... just hot, black, steaming coffee.. ! :)

Rated 5 out of 5 by Secr8shopper Nice for individual coffee drinker
I really like this coffee maker. I am usually the only one drinking coffee in the morning, and with a 12 cups maker I end up wasting a decent amount of coffee. I buy expensive coffee, so the waste really adds up. I debated getting a single serve maker, but I usually drink 4 cups anyways.Instead of a pricey single serve system,I get hot fresh coffee, no waste, easy clean up, and this is built just like a sturdy bigger model. And....it's cute! If you want to save money, do not get those pricey single serve machines, invest in one of these and buy some shoes with the saved cash. :)
