The first time I ordered the gumball machine the glass globe came cracked and broken. I exchanged for a second one and it looked ok unless I missed the crack before I put the gumballs in. Once I put the gumballs in you could visibly see the crack. I am going to try this one last time and exchange it for my third gumball machine for my son. I love the look of it but I wish the globe didn't crack so easily....

Bought this as a present and it was a big success. Everyone loves using it! It seems really sturdy and everything has a nice solid feel. Has a nice classic look.

Rated 5 out of 5 by Grammy101 Great for Potty Training and Rewarding Behaviors
Excellent Product. Good quality and reminiscent of days gone by. Purchased for two-year-old grandson being potty trained. Every time he remembered to tell us he needed to use the bathroom, he received a penny for the gumball machine (filled with jelly beans). 1 penny into the slot, a twist of the lever (eye-hand coordination and small muscle development) and out popped 2 jelly beans. Grandson was habit-trained in a day and potty trained in 3 days. Now there are nuts and fruit snacks in the machine with a dish of coins (all coins fit, even Canadian and Austrian coins) next to it. Friends, teenagers, and family enjoy the novelty of a gumball machine in the family room filled with treats. Coins go into Grandson's College Fund. Chocolate malt balls and peppermints and Jordan almonds all fit through the slot if you want to change the contents. This will become a family heirloom, I'm sure, with Grandson having first 'dibs'.
