A slice of perfume bliss?
I am an avid perfume wearer, especially during the summer months, but I would have to say that this was not the scent for me. I usually tend to veer towards scents that are both light and fruity and stay away from anything that leans towards the musky side. For example, I love the smell of Clinique's Happy. However, I'm always willing to try a new scent out and experiment. So I was thrilled to get to try out a new perfume and for free too!
I was able to try out the fragrance a number of times because the sample provided more than enough for numerous dalliances. At first smell, I detected notes of vanilla and various flowers. But I couldn't pinpoint the exact flowers contained within. I liked it, but did not love it. It was a bit too heavy of a scent for me personally and was not fruity enough. The scent also did not linger for long and after an hour or two, I felt like I needed to reapply.
Would not purchase this product on my own. Bamboo bliss it was not. [This review was collected as part of a promotion.]

Rated 5 out of 5 by halfbrit Very Balnaved Scent Betwen Light & Sultry
As soon as I received my Gucci Prestige BzzAgent Kit I had to try the Gucci Bamboo scent - it's floral and feminine with a little spice added in for a more adult scent that is extremely wearable and versatile. It works equally well as an every day scent or to wear on special occasions like a night on the town. ( I know it smells great because my husband told me so). At first it was difficult to pin down because it's a complex scent but very balanced. Definitely floral but with more depth of character so it's the perfect scent for the Fall/Winter months. A little goes a long way with Gucci Bamboo, and it is also very long lasting. I explained to my husband that I had gotten a free sample through BzzAgent and told me I had to put a full size bottle on my Christmas list this year because he said I smelled amazingly great. Wait until he sees me wearing the mascara, matte lipstick, and Gucci Bamboo fragrance all together - that will be three new gifts to add to my Christmas list this year! Rated 4 out of 5 by aviandex Good fragrance, but not for me
Gucci Bamboo perfume is a fragrance that most women will like. It is refreshing, youthful, and very feminine. Upon first spritz, it smelled very light and floral. It didn't give me a headache, which is a huge plus (most heavy perfumes give me a lingering headache). I could definitely smell the Casablanca Lily topnote, which is very pleasant.
Over the next hour or so, the top notes wore off, and I could smell the warmer notes of Italian Bergamot and Sandalwood. I loved how subtle and soft the perfume was, and it didn't seem to bother my co-worker at all (she's very sensitive/allergic to perfumes). The perfume faded after a couple hours, but I decided not to reapply.
I think Gucci Bamboo is the perfect fragrance for daytime. The perfume made me feel elegant, youthful, and sophisticated. It was definitely refreshing to wear this perfume at work because it was so light but crisp. I do prefer fruitier perfumes, rather than floral ones, and hence I give Gucci Bamboo 4 out of 5 stars. Rated 1 out of 5 by nbrumley Too sweet, small quantity
At first, I was pretty excited to try the alluring new eau de parfum, Gucci Bamboo. I really like these types of products from nicer brands, but I was pretty disappointed with this product. I chose to wear Gucci Bamboo for an evening out with friends since it was a little bit of a heavier winter scent. When I opened the lid, I immediately noticed how sweet Gucci Bamboo was on it's own. I put it on my wrist anyway, and just two applications went through half the sample. Luckily for me, Gucci Bamboo fades quickly. Still, there was hardly enough for a touch up throughout the night in the incredibly small sample. While I was out with my friends, no one (male or female) noticed the scent or complimented my "new and alluring" eau de parfum. The next day I looked up how much Gucci Bamboo would cost, and for the price, it's definitely not something I would purchase. All in all, the eau de parfum Gucci Bamboo is just not my style and the sample was too small to give it a second chance. [This review was collected as part of a promotion.]

Rated 5 out of 5 by jzieska I'm in love!
I was a body spray girl for many years, I didn't really use perfume much, but I have recently started wearing it. I am currently wearing Versace Bright Crystal and I really like it. I was excited to try something new and also I little nervous because I'm pretty picky about perfumes and usually don't like most of them. It took me a pretty long time to find one I liked. When my bzzkit came, the first thing I tried was the perfume, I opened it right up and sprayed it into the air away from me so if I hated it, it wouldn't be on me all day. I was pleasantly surprised! I absolutely LOVE this perfume. I have been wearing it every day since I got it and I'm going online to buy it today.
The fragrance isn't too heavy, but it's not so light that you have to load it on. It's got a sweet scent, buy not overly sweet where you want to gag. I have gotten so many compliments while wearing this perfume which has made it really easy to buzz about! This is my favorite thing I have received from BzzAgent so far! Rated 5 out of 5 by kann1688 Amazing Perfume!!
This is a really sophisticated fragrance. I usually very toward florals, both complex and simple, but this fragrance is decidedly different from what I normally wear. Although it has floral notes, it also has a musky, woodsy undertone that makes it the perfect perfume for winter days and nights. It's a little heavier and headier than a true floral making it truly unique in my collection. I wanted something different, off the beaten path. My perfumes were getting a little "one note" and I needed something a little darker to add spice. In the wintertime I usually use Guerlain's Samsara but it's getting more and more difficult to find. When I discovered the Gucci I had to take the plunge. I bought the huge size because it's a much better buy and I'd hoped that I would like it well enough use the entire large bottle. The bottle itself is gorgeous, a beautiful gold that shines among my clear glass bottles. I'm equipped for the frigid winter months and into spring. I definitely recommend this perfume [This review was collected as part of a promotion.]

Rated 2 out of 5 by StarryEyes63 Would Not Buy
I am a huge girly girl and don't feel like I am fully dressed without a bit of perfume. I tend to go for feminine fresh scents, like United Colors of Benneton BUnited, JLo Glow Love, and Paris Hilton. Sometimes a fresh citrus clean scent like DG Light Blue appeals to me. These scents tend to mix very well with my chemistry and I end up getting lots of compliments.
Bamboo was just not my thing. It smells like an older woman's perfume, and reminded me of something that my 60 year old mother would wear. It is a more sophisticated, floral, scent that I just don't like. It comes on pretty strong smelling, but faded on me in about 4 hours. I am used to getting a full days worth of scent from my perfume.I did not receive any compliments on this on the multiple occasions that I wore it and the guy I am dating is a complete scent fiend who always comments on the scent of my perfume, shampoo, etc.
I would never buy this. The scent isn't one I liked and really didn't work on me. It also faded way too quickly. [This review was collected as part of a promotion.]

Rated 4 out of 5 by jemstar Intruiging Gucci Bamboo
I am an avid perfume wearer, but I usually go for scents that are light and fruity. My usual scents are Ralph by Ralph Lauren and Love Spell by Victoria's Secret. I was getting a little tired of my usual scents and wanted to explore different perfumes. That is why I was so excited that Bzz Agent sent me a sample of Gucci bamboo. I have seen it advertised and wanted to try it! I had enough in the sample to wear for a few days which I did. At first smell, I detected notes of Baby powder, berries, berries, and vanilla. I liked it, but did not love it. It was a bit too heavy of a scent for me personally, but if ou are one who likes that, you would definitely love this fragrance. On the plus side, Gucci bamboo did last for a really long time which is very hard to find in fragrances. It lasted way longer than my current fragrances. I would think about purchasing possibly a smaller size of Gucci Bamboo and rotating it with my usual scents. All in all a very decent perfume, just a little too heavy for my taste.
