Rated 5 out of 5 by from Great Fit & Very Comfortable Until recently I have been a long time fan of Dockers Pleated Coit Relaxed Pants with Cocona because they were relaxed fit and the material was light and helped wick away moisture but unfortunately they appeared to have been discontinued as I could no longer locate them in my size. I purchased Haggar’s Pleated Cool 18 pants because the description was the same as the Dockers but I was skeptical because they were classic fit which generally are tighter in the thigh area than relaxed fit pants. It turns out that they actually provided more leg room than the Dockers I had previously owned and they have an elastic waistband which provides great comfort. I live in Texas where it is hot most of the time and have an athletic build with large thighs therefore finding pants that fit me comfortably is a very daunting task. I love these pants and recommend them to anyone who has trouble finding pants that fit comfortably like myself.

Rated 3 out of 5 by from Good... But I have always bought this brand and style of pants and the fit has always been perfect. However since last year they are not the same, the "cut" is different and have to return 1 out of 3. This year I bought some more (2) and I had to return them all because the inseam was too tight and very uncomfortable. Would I recommend them? Yes, the fabric and the expandable waist are great features. Would I buy them again? I don't know, it too much hassle to buy them and then have to return them because they don't fit as they should, even though I am buying the same type and size as always.

Rated 3 out of 5 by from Pants are nice but rise is too short The inseam and length are true to size but the rise is too tight. If you want to feel comfortable when you move or seat then maybe try going up a size or two and use a belt. Otherwise the pants are tight and uncomfortable for a whole day.

Rated 2 out of 5 by from very thin material not what I expected, far too thin to be durable, hazard of buying sight unseen (online)

Rated 5 out of 5 by from Great for work A bit snug, but the expandable waist helps with that

Rated 2 out of 5 by from Style / cut change? I have numerous pairs of these pants, and I absolutely love them. I love both the fit and the feel of these pants. I wear them every day to work, and other casual occasions, and have for a few years now. I ordered 3 pairs a few weeks ago, and when they arrived I eagerly tried them on. I was disappointed. It seems some things have changed in terms of the style and cut of the pants. While they still have the expandable waist, the material is slightly different (still nice, though not as nice as the older pairs). I called customer service who told me the material previously was 100% polyester, but is now microfiber, which is lighter and "more breathable to make them even cooler." The feel isn't quite as soft and smooth in my opinion, but that was not the biggest problem. Instead, the pants are clearly smaller in the legs and seat than previously. I was uncomfortable all day at work, as the pants were very snug across my thighs, unlike the older pairs (like the ones I am wearing now.) Both older and newer pairs are pleated, classic fit, and the same size, so the only difference is the amount of material in the legs and seat. In comparing the two side-by-side, it appeared to me that the older pairs are about an inch wider at the thighs when folded flat (at the pleats). I checked the codes on the tags of a new pair and an old pair in the same color, and some of the codes have changed. Whether that indicates a change in cut/style/etc., I do not know, but it reinforced my belief that there was such a change in construction. These are still nice pants, but if you are built like me and like the old fit, the new version is not as comfortable. In fact, they are "not comfortable" and I will be returning them. I am very disappointed, because as I said above, I absolutely love my older pairs of these. Please go back to the way these were made before.

Rated 5 out of 5 by from True example of wash and wear confidently I don't own the super duper duo of washers and dryers that perform miracles on clothes. Some fancy dryers even have a steam cycle I'm told for stubborn wrinkles. I look for clothes that perform as advertised with a minimum of effort and I have found just such an article of clothing in the slacks by Haggar I recently bought from Penneys! They wash and dry beautifully in my basic washer and dryer. They feel good and are not stiff when dryed, but are ready for a day's work in a minimum of time. Time is of the essence to me, and I am happy when I find clothing that allows me to spend more time with my family and in the laundry room!
